This is one of the most inventive albums I've listened to in years. This guy's a musical genius! He's got the grooves and the melodies are awesome.

One of the VERY BEST CDs of 2007. Co-produced and co-written by the Neptunes and Kenna, "Face" is musically all over the map, which adds to its magic. I have been playing the CD like crazy. Each track is stellar, however, 'Static' is THE standout. It is one of the most beautiful love songs I've heard in recent memory. Universal Music should be ashamed of itself for the lack of promotion. Sadly, Kenna's project will not get the mainstream exposure it so rich deserves because it is actually GREAT! If he was mediocre or untalented he would get all the exposure in the world. Kenna is one reason why I have stopped listening to the radio and started seeking out quality music for myself. I hope that Kenna is around for many, many years to come. Simply phenomenal! Get the CD IMMEDIATELY! Collapse

This album was good to me, although not quite that memerable, blends messages with synth pop making it a solid album. at times the album just didn't last, but most of the time it did its just.

With Make Sure They See My Face, Kenna created a very good sophomore album. While it's all over the place, it's still much easier to follow than Kenna's debut, New Sacred Cow. The only thing that's really missing is truly memorable songs for the duration of the album. Probably one of the best sophmore albums of all time. Everything about it is solid. He's keeping it real, know need to sell out. Great beats thanks to his high school chums (The Neptunes, mainly Chad). Can you blame him for using his hook ups. Its all over the place, and why not. Rolling Stone mag not "terribly memorable", stop filling your memory with crap, make room for CRAFT. Later.

  1. Make Sure They See My Face, is a much more cohesive record, one that may have an easier time making it onto MTV and mainstream radio.
  2. Kenna has the indie roots to bridge the gap between pop and everything left of center. This effort has already created some stir between the two. My only concern is that the album's lack of balance may make for a one hitter quitter.
  3. Face remains a giddy, guilt-free taste of electro-pop that single-handedly renders Kenna as a force to be reckoned with.
