KeithRFeb 9, 2007I love the innovations Plant and the band have placed on the alabum. Although we all would love to hear him "primevial wail" in the stratosphere almost all the time, his never ending work at breaking new artistic ground with his music is amazing. the marriage of various styles together is refreshing and unique. gotta get it

GeorgePApr 13, 2006A very good album that remains enjoyable after many plays. I took off a point as the song Brother Ray seems a little out of place with the overall mood of the album

LauraCDec 10, 2005This is the best I have heard from Robert Plant since Led Zeppelin days. I trie to like his other solo albums. The only one I liked was "Unleaded" with Jimmy Page. My hero has re-found his stregths and this album I think is Led Zep 3 recreated for 2005

BrionBAug 12, 2005OUTSTANDING!! Just when I was getting tired of just about everything out there. This album is a breath of fresh air reminisent of the glory days of rock with a mature twist of thought.

RobertKJul 30, 2005What an incredible album! Robert is showing everyone how it should be done. It sounds contempory and yet it easily integrates Plant's and Led Zep's entire history.

GregZJul 1, 2005Robert Plant has created a very musical and very spiritual album. You sense that a lot of thought and emotion went into the songs instead of music business-types' money making opinions. It's refreshing to hear a veteran rocker release something more honest, musical and fresh than most "rockers" in their 20's today. Quite possibly the best rock album of 2005.

LauriSJun 23, 2005Plant has not skipped a beat. He and his incredible new band can rock just as hard, if not harder than in the Zep days. Love it, love it, LOVE IT!

SamKJun 20, 2005This is easily as good as any Led Zeppelin album. I'm glad he's back!

VictorPJun 19, 2005Mighty Rearranger is a wonderful record! Better than Dreamland. It´s very nice to hear Plant singing so well yet.

DavieCJun 15, 2005I was shocked to be honest. I admit I am a huge Zep fan, and have been to many Plant shows over the past fifteen years. I was expecting a very uncreative and mellow album, but was I in for a shock. Very well done from the first song to last, and much like Zeppelin, a huge contrast in sound from song to song, and even in the same song. Maybe The Song does Remain the Same.

VinceP.Jun 13, 2005Best continuum to where Zeppelin left off with Physical Graffitti and Presence. Riffs are strong and "Zeppelinesque". Vocals and lyrics are A+. CD just has a great feel to it. LIsten more than once.

RoloTJun 1, 2005Dude is old, and this sounds like a rehash of "attempting to attain past glory" without the zip. Where is the wheelchair?

MikeTMay 30, 2005Great the 1st time but you have to listen to the cd a couple of more times to appreciate the brillance of Plant. Fantastic music!

DebSMay 13, 2005Marvelous! Everything good from Percy's resume is here -- blues, ballads, sexy wailing and rockin' -- all done excepionally well. A mature and monumental work from a rock legend who's obviously not over the hill at all!

DougWMay 13, 2005I think the CD is one of the best complete CD's I have bought in years. It sounds like nothing else out there. Not one single track sounds like another on the CD. I love it!

JimmyWMay 10, 2005Easily Plant's best work since 1975. This album is Plant strutting across a broad musical landscape with a band who moves him to reclaim some lost glory. He actually sounds like he means what he is signing. Stewart, Jagger and Daltry should hear this record and hang their heads.

-
More than any time since 1994's No Quarter with Jimmy Page, Plant's inner black dog is howling again.
-
MojoArguably Plant's most Zeppelinesque solo work to date. [May 2005, p.92]
-
Q MagazineThough Strange Sensation guitarist Liam "Skin" Tyson is no Jimmy Page, Plant can still strut with the vigour of a man half his age. [May 2005, p.114]
