AMAZING album by Dance Gavin Dance. Some of my favorites are "Betrayed By The Game", "Young Robot", "Chocolate Jackalope", and "Inspire The Liars". 10/10 album.

A simply flawless record. I won't deny that listening to Dance Gavin Dance can be challenging, because it can, but patience has many rewards - enjoying this record is one of them! Give it time, pay attention, the beauty in complexity of DGD shines through like it always has. Can honestly say I’m addicted to this album. I am generally not the biggest punk/rough vocals fan but I’ve been transformed indefinitely. It could take a few listens before fully appreciating the songs but patience pays off. The guitarist, Will Swan, is a powerhouse throughout and it shows in the first song “Chucky vs. The Giant Tortoise”. Naturally, those married to traditional song structures need not apply, but if you fancy feeling like your brains in a pinball machine, then Mothership will take you out of this world. [15 Oct 2016, p.52]

This set [is] their best yet. Every member's in fine form here. [Nov 2016, p.88]

At times “Mothership” can get a little wearying. Part of that comes from the grab-you-by-the-shoulders urgency of the paired vocalists, who can be a bit much even once you’ve bought into their good-guy bad-guy conceit.
