This one is up there among the best of all Chris' albums. I've had it in the car playing over and over for a few weeks now.

A solid album from beginning to end. This ranks right up there with Forever Blue as his best album.

VERY ordinary effort from a talented guy. I'm a longtime fan and thisAlbum really "let's us down NOT so easy" with a lyrically dire (as in predictable and cliche'd) barely adequate piece of "work". As a fan, it pains me to write this - really. I expected more after 7 years.

  1. Mr. Lucky works because Isaak and crew don't overplay their hand.
  2. Mr. Lucky makes up for lost time with 14 gems that showcase his sharp vocal stylings, particular brand of countrified pop music and (given his sex appeal) an equally impossible-to-believe preponderance of romantic heartbreak.
  3. He continues to deliver the goods on Lucky by singing about the unlucky.
