parappaApr 2, 20069Murs is on point for pretty much every track. 9th's beats range from crap (Trevor An' Them) to mediocre (H-U-S-T-L-E and 3:16) to average (The Animal) to good (Intro, Bad Man, The Pain) to great (Freak These Tales, Walk Like a Man, And This Is For...) The album is short and sweet, definately give it a listen.

JasonTMay 30, 200479th Wonder holds down his end, but Murs is dissapointingly dull lyrically on this album. Too much sex talk bogs down even the best production.

FrenchieMar 31, 20059Shorter but better. Murs is as good as usual and 9th wonder just gives Murs' prods another touch. At lesat half of the album is dope. The other half is great. And that is if I'm being hard with Murs and 9th! P.S. Murs might sound dull sometimes but the riming is here ! And some stories are funny (Trevor an' them). 2 Jason T =)

brendanwMar 29, 20048a very honest + direct record. the production is the best murs has ever had, and his rhymes are right up to par. only 35 minutes long - some people may say that it "isn't enough" but i disagree, and at least it's not another 80-minute disc. another great release in what's been a brilliant year for hip hop already.

ToucanSAug 16, 20058Murs is a great, humorous rapper with some different subject matter. However, I am really get sick of 9th Wonders production. The man needs some new drums. The first song, however, is one of the most different 9th beats i've ever heard, and walk like a man is an equally great song. Dope album, but with only two really high points I can't give it higher than an 8.

809th [Wonder]'s impassioned beatwork's sole shortcoming is there's not enough of it, as this album runs less than 40 minutes. [Apr 2004, p.83]
-
83More prosaic and profane than many of his labelmates. [May 2004, p.108]
-
80This is one explosive package no hip hop loving home should be without. [Aug 2004, p.92]
