Music to be murdered by is the best album Eminem has released since the Marshall Mathers LP2, but it doesn't change the fact that it is still a bloaded and messy project with a handfull of good tracks.

    Best track: Darkness
Worst track: Stepdad (the chorus is trash!)
Best feature: Juice WRLD or Royce da 5'9

fantastic, 10/10. The goat back at it, at what he does best: putting bangers out there. Loved it from the very beginning.

actually a decent album from Eminem his first more positive than a negative album in 7 years and might be a good change of form for him if he doesn't **** it up with the next album

Not his best work but not his worst. I likes the song darkness because of its message and song like those kinda nights with had a catchy hook

Eminem siendo versátil y amoldándose a la actualidad es agradable de ver, porque eso significa que le importa su crecimiento como artista. Darkness debería ser la mejor canción del 2020.

Solid effort by Eminem. He rides the beats in a very unorthodox way but it's still fun. could've done without the love songs and step dad.

Eminem proved he is one of the greats, because of his longevity and his phenomenal lyrical abilities.

Fantastic production, great technical skill, occasionally kneecapped by some awkward wordplay, but nevertheless a solid return to form.

I'm kinda surprised that the user score is so high, I thought even Eminem's own fans would've seen that this album isn't particularly strong. This isn't a masterpiece or a ten and there's a reason why the critics score is lower than the user's

Its been a while since eminem dropped a satisfactory album (MMLP2). The last two albums felt unfinished but this one certainly didnt. The only problem was the average beats and eminems lifeless voice. Other than that, i loved it!

If Eminem stayed consistent with the whole Alfred Hitchcock theme this could have been amazing, or even just telling a story in some songs like he did in Stan or Framed, but he decided to go with a semi rant on the music genre that not only ends up on the mediocre side of the sound, but remains just a rephrasing of what he said in Kamikaze. Best Album of 2020 according to me. Amazing production, and great rap. Another great album by Rap God himself. Definitely Eminem Top 5.

A good return to form for Eminem after a turbulent few years. The features do a great job, and Eminem absolutely holds his own

Some of the songs just feel too much like Eminem is messing around and not caring about what he’s putting out. There was quite a lot of insignificant theming in the album that wasn’t really saved by lyricism. MTBMB is Marshall's best work since MMLP2 In fact I would say this is his best album in terms of production. All of the features are great. There is all type of songs in the album you can vibe to... If you love lyricism (wordplay, bars , metaphors) you should definitely go for this. The Album is a masterpiece.

It’s been more than a year, and I still cannot stop listen, the rhyme schemes, the worldplay and the way Em is having so much fun with MTBMB is amazing

MTBMB is possibly the best Eminem release since Marshall Mathers LP (About just as good as Relapse) I really like the Alfred Hitchcock interludes, gives the tracks an ominous feeling. Most of the tracks are very good, a couple of things though.
He has way too many songs rapping about toxic relationships, Farewell is god awful. (I know "Never love again" is just one big double-entendre

He has way too many songs rapping about toxic relationships, Farewell is god awful. (I know "Never love again" is just one big double-entendre about drugs, but still). Those kinda nights is also annoying.
The second half of the tape is just as good as the first. Overall a very pleasant album. The Posse cuts are some of the best tracks on the album.
For his next album, i wish Eminem would do a more conceptualized album

Nem Nem still be mad, but at least he (WAS) going in the right direction with this one. Avoids the kamikaze effect

Favorites: Darkness, Yah Yah, You Gon Learn, Godzilla, I Will, Never Love Again, Little Engine, Marsh, Lock It Up, Leaving Heaven (VERSE 3)

Least Favorites: THE REST (Premonition has a great beat as well as no regrets having one, they're boring

Esse "crítica" vai ser em português, feita por alguém que não sabe nada de criticas a música, apenas de alguém que gosta de ouvi-las. He clearly cares about his output, but “Music To Be Murdered By” is, unfortunately, another mixed bag of tricks, propped up by lyrical acrobatics and underwhelming production.

If they look hard enough, any artist could find criticism of their work online. That’s sort of the curse of the Information Age. But not everyone overreacts quite as much as Eminem does. But if his fears grow tiring, his lyrical ability can still give you something to admire, even if the album is somewhat uneven.

It is not, strictly speaking, a good record—Eminem hasn’t made one of those in a decade—but it boasts enough technical command and generates just enough arresting ideas to hold your attention.
