    Another preachy self righteous half assed release by one of raps greatest m.c's. What has happened to him that he thinks it's okay to categorically disappoint so fluently. His features are the only reason this album is somehow bearable.

    he's a grown ass man who is still trying to act like an edgy teen. mentioning the manchester bombing for the sole reason of introducing shock value feels like a cheap and desperate move of someone who's trying to maintain the 'savage' he's built over the years. his lyrics are getting worse and worse, this album they reach an absolute low of them being corny.

    Another trash album from a used to be great rapper. From 3 dope albums to open and now just ok and scattered songs/albums from him now. His stand make it worse because they know it's not good but when you got 90% of white fans defending his old ways and repetitive rap patterns. This is the result you get.

    i honestly think lil uzi not dropping in over two years has lowered peoples standards of what an actual good album sounds like. i didnt even listen to this garbage but its obviously the most flaming trash of the decade. gave it a 1 for a participation point. eminem is a poor mans logic at this point.

    Eminem tries very hard here to maintain the edgy appeal he carried ten years back. A majority of this album as a result of this sounds corny and terribly immature. Stupid references to the Manchester attack, a stupid hook that celebrates killing an abusive step-dad, and annoying lyrics that talk about how he's the best in the game. I'm seeing The Telegraph here giving this album a 10 onEminem tries very hard here to maintain the edgy appeal he carried ten years back.     Way overrated, Eminem was good in 2002 because he knew pretty much nothing, but now he looks like an old infant, I mean he should just retire and left behind that legacy that he had but he’s just **** up his own image with this kind of albums, I don’t know why he is so attached to his 2000 persona he should let it go by now and just accept who he is right now.

    At this point, em can fart (at a really fast pace on repeat) on a record and these cancerous stans will suck it all up like smelling roses. sales and Stan reviews don’t matter when the golden “white boy” of hiphop gets props for vomiting rhymes over trash / generic beats.     Felt like Eminem was trying to be overly edgy on this album. This does not necessarily make the album bad but gives off a very immature vibe and truly highlights just how stuck he is in the current generation of rap. He simply cannot seem to acclimate to rap nowadays. He just needs to grow up, cut his losses and retire now, like he should’ve ten years ago.

    Usually I’m not about giving 1s to “even out the score,” but when you make this **** the top rap album of all time, I’m just doing my part. I guess in many ways the title is fitting, it’s the musical equivalent of wanting to die.

Eminem acts like he's still 21 starting beef with people and hating the system or whatever, yet he's a middle aged man who's no longer relevant. He should take a leaf out of JAY-Zs book, who has matured as any artist should, and created 4:44, an album 100x better than anything Eminem has made. Though nothing is as bad as his wall punching, monster drinking, 'I tell my mom to F off' fan base, who leave bad reviews on the greatest albums of all time, such as MBDTF because they can't admit Eminem is washed up. The fact on one album he's dissing modern rap and 'mumble' rappers, then works with these new young artists, such as Juice WRLD (R.I.P gone too soon) shows how hell do anything for streams.… Expand

    A desperate attempt at reconciling with the new generation but with so much resistance, that it leads to a bloated collection of mediocrity with soms bright spots like Darkness. Album doesn't know what it's going for and like most Eminem albums, has little to no cohesiveness.

And as an Eminem Stan, Trash music is what I love the most. From the **** hooks, to the trash mixes, I love it, it’s so so so so trash I love it. Don Toliver carried this album with black thought it’s great trash work. Eminem has been going from trash to trashier I love it. I think this is better than Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers because of hiw trash this is. Loved it.… Expand

Yes, there are still tons of Kyles blasting his music while chugging mountain dew, thrilled to give this a 10, but that doesn't make it good. a Mediocre attempt at staying relevant.

On one hand he's joking about the Ariana grande concert bombing on the other he's crooning about the vegas shooter. He's got nothing left to say but he'll say it real fast.

    This is not even Eminem's best work, and people claim it's the best hiphop work so far. Eminem is just trying to make a living of stale dad-rapping. There are couple of good bars here and there, but overall both the production and the flows lack creativity. Political lyrics also don't help when they're nonsense, either.

It is a constant negative trend in the hip hop community to spread hate to said ‘mumble rappers’ and Eminem thrives off this message instead of promoting upcoming artists.     Eminem once again proves that he should have hung his hat albums ago. Impressive features and a nice throwback theme, however the album doesn't have it's true intro until track 4, leaving 1-3 in a weird limbo state. While his speed-rapping is at it's all time best on the track Godzilla, the lyrics don't have the same shock value that they used to.

    In Conclusion: Will the Real Slim Shady    Eminem once again proves that he should have hung his hat albums ago.     Rapping Fast does not make a good album or song. Eminem Clearly out of his rapping prime shown by corny lyrics and boring songs. definitely one of if not the worst album of this year. and its January.

    This **** is trash. I do not understand why Eminem feels the need to rap fast to be a good rapper. He didn't do that on the slim shady LP, and he's been doing it since the Marshall mathers LP 2. It gets **** old. He obviously isn't over revival's reception even though that was also trash. This isn't really worth listening to. One word to describe this **** is simply "yikes."

    As always, Em's rhyme scheme's and wordplay are on point. However a lot of the songs are killed by his angry bitter vibe that emanates throughout the whole album. He will always have the best numbers, thanks in part to him exploiting tragedies for punchlines, and namedropping 100+ people, and stans willing to defend him no matter what. We all know em is a brilliant attention seeker, butAs always, Em's rhyme scheme's and wordplay are on point. However a lot of the songs are killed by his angry bitter vibe that emanates throughout the whole album. He will always have the best numbers, thanks in part to him exploiting tragedies for punchlines, and namedropping 100+ people, and stans willing to defend him no matter what. We all know em is a brilliant attention seeker, but this formula is getting pretty old. He can spit bars like nobodies business, but this just isn't very compelling music. There are a few bright spots, a few songs I really enjoy. But there are far too many skips on this album to consider it a classic. Love the bars, just wish he would switch up the material. Anger and bitterness is not a good vibe. He can do better.… Expand

The lyrics are corny and stupid and its just so **** ANNOYING when he keeps complaining about Revival! Name dropping people (again) and his lyrics almost entirely rely on shock factor.     though a departure from the lack luster sound of his previous few albums, Marshall Mathers still fails to reclaim the glory of his early sound. with lackluster production, forced staccato flows, and lyricism that at times boarders on cringe at times, Music to be Murdered By is nothing special

    Extremely annoying to listen to. Eminem’s extremely corny lines and fast-flows-that-aren’t-cool-anymore ruin the album. Juice WRLD and Anderson.paak were the best parts of it

    If they look hard enough, any artist could find criticism of their work online. That’s sort of the curse of the Information Age. But not everyone overreacts quite as much as Eminem does. But if his fears grow tiring, his lyrical ability can still give you something to admire, even if the album is somewhat uneven.
