    Nothing stays as it seems for long, but the dense ethereality they've created with Narrows definitely leaves a lasting presence on even passing listeners.

    Narrows, while no masterpiece or game-changer, is a very impressive debut, one that regardless of what new subgenres it is labeled with will stand on its own as a fine piece of musical art.

    Adjusting things just enough between tracks that they stay engaging without ever jarring the listener out of their cocoon of atmosphere, while deftly splitting the difference between the passiveness of purely ambient music and the active intellectualization required to fully absorb the skittering glitches of IDM.
