    Finally something special. Too many mainstream groups in the market. This one sounds fresh.

    Glorious. Because it is in such stark contrast to what is currently being released and I dare not take it from my CD player, it gets a 10. By the way, the companion disc "Side Three" is also tremendous and they give a PHENOMENAL live show.

  1. It wouldn't be difficult to pass off as a mildly disappointing unreleased Soft Boys album from 1981.

  3. The psychedelic underpinnings of old are cleaned up a bit and the anger and bile that lay beneath the surface of the earlier material has been calmed, but there is still much to be enjoyed.
