CristóbalG.Aug 29, 2009I personally loved it, I think most of the songs have really interesting arrangements and stuff, but I'm still able to understand some critics' opinions, it's not perfect at all, but if you were a Cranberries' fan or you like good Pop/Rock music with some experiments here and there, you'll probably enjoy this.

JamesPAug 29, 2009Dolores O'Riordan voice is still solid and beautiful as ever. But the music is a major let down, this vanilla album has absolutely nothing that stands out. If your going to check out this album, my recommended track is Be Careful. Definitely an album for time to forget.

These clean, open arrangements tend to make the songs seem catchier than they actually are--the hooks don't grab, they repeat like softened incantations that never quite catch hold--but that does give No Baggage an nice, gentle shimmer that's appealing.

She retains a beautiful voice, but this sophomore solo album is undone by a batch of not-so-great songs. She wallows in more melodrama than might be expected, while trying to be self-consciously profound.

Regardless of how good the voice is, if the music does not follow suit then there's only so far you can get.
