    A powerful delivery by slowthai. Screams nihilism. A discussion of the social climate of Britain. Thought-provoking and powerful lyrics.

    There's nothing great about this album, except its relevance on today's issues in the UK. Some tracks are outstanding ('Doorman', and also 'Peace of Mind'), however the rest of them are just inferior, lack of originality within the production. Nothing Great About Britain is a reminder that even a developed country can mess themselves up too.

    De longe o álbum não parece ser de um estreante, tem uma carga de maturidade muito forte ao versar sobre problemas cotidianos da Grã-Bretanha (o nome do álbum é mais do que sugestivo, as composições também). No plano instrumental, não há nada de surpreendente ao 'universo rap', portanto, Slowthai mantém-se numa zona de conforto apropriada para uma estréia - e que acredito ser a suaDe longe o álbum não parece ser de um estreante, tem uma carga de maturidade muito forte ao versar sobre problemas cotidianos da Grã-Bretanha (o nome do álbum é mais do que sugestivo, as composições também). No plano instrumental, não há nada de surpreendente ao 'universo rap', portanto, Slowthai mantém-se numa zona de conforto apropriada para uma estréia - e que acredito ser a sua filosofia musical fiel; no lugar dele, eu faria a mesma coisa.     Omg this record was so funny. It's sense of humour and smart delivery seem so great for such a young newcomer. It walks the line between arrogance and confidence as it critiques basically everything happening in British society. From call the queen a C@#$ and the exploitive use of taxes for lavish lifestyles of outdated monarchs to the failure of brexit. Favourites:T N Biscuits, nothingOmg this record was so funny.     slowthai gained notoriety for being unvarnished in his lyrics over his country’s politics, but that isn’t shown much on the album except for its title. He says there’s “Nothing Great About Britain“, but the same can be said about his debut album, even with the bright spots.
