Beautiful, shimmering piece of music. Played this on the headphones and slowly but surely I was overcome...

Olympic Girls is a Delicate but assured triumph. Beautifully crafted songs and excellent production resulted in this listener Feeling intellectually and emotionally sated. The melodies on the surface seem simple but always seem contain subtle flourishes that dance playfully with the main theme. A delight

Fullbrook mottles sonic accouterments throughout with graceful finesse, though sometimes at the expense of songs that dissolve into a foggy blur.

Her most powerful album to date, both vivid and serene in its uncanny way of slowing the pace of time. [Mar 2019, p.61]

While there's a temptation to allow music that's as wispy as this slip between one's fingers there's much to latch on to here if given due attention including the shuffling rock 'n' roll of "Stars, False, Fading" and the slow-burning, Linda Thompson arpeggio ascents of the bold title track.
