Strikes the right balance between rock ballast and frayed pop beauty. [Sep 2011, p. 101]

One Man Mutiny does a great job of balancing Stinson's pop-punk sheen with a bittersweet dose of aching ballads.

While One Man Mutiny doesn't aspire to reach the heights of the Holy Trinity of Let It Be, Tim or Pleased to Meet Me, the album makes a case for Stinson's songwriting prowess, even if it does feel a bit borrowed throughout his sophomore release.

One Man Mutiny isn't perfect, but it's a highly listenable album from a man who's seen it all.
