The only two that aren't (Maximum Firepower and Union Song aren't complete duds though). The album ends very strong with his best two songs The Dark Clouds Above and Until the End both have catchy riffs. The opener, California's Dark is a great opener setting the tone for the rest of the album. The Road I Must Travel is another catchy tune and it gets better as it progresses. His voice is surprisingly good (very Johnny Cash-ish) and his lyrics are top notch. Anyone who is into acoustic albums would love this. A+…Expand

Short sweet and to the point, not drawn out like some over artistic poet which pollutes our air ways these days (emo anyone?) Our generations Johnny Cash? Bob Dylan? Only time will tell. As expected, the guitar mechanics are stellar, but the vocals...well, there's something missing there. Sounds like Dylan without the eccentricity or poetic talent. Nice try by an otherwise great musician, though.…Expand

Come back Chris for heaven's sake! It doesn't have a single one of the three pilars of a good album. I'm a Tom Morello fan but this is possibly the worst sounding album I've ever heard. I love to stack my itunes with as much music as possible just for the sake of having it on file but this I might just have to discard, yes, it's that bad. If you like Rage or Audioslave, then keep listening because this is a dead end (nomatter what your into)…Expand
