Mar 10, 2018Is it Linkin Park's worst studio album to date? Probably. But is it a bad album? Not really. There's still some good stuff to be enjoyed here and I still think it's worth checking out. A lot of the criticism it's getting is kind of unjust.

Mar 3, 2018Linkin Park delivered a lackluster electro-pop album that abandons the sound that gave them an identity for more mainstream success that failed regardlesss and will only be remembered for their frontman's death/final album.

Feb 8, 2018While this album isn't outright bad, a big reoccurring issue is the lyrical content of the songs not matching the generally upbeat instrumentals, and Chester's voice often being too soft to convey them properly. The title track however, One More Light, is an exception.

Dec 22, 2017Chester's death is tragic and heartbreaking. I feel it does add some context to some moments on this album, but growing up with linkin park and being so used to their style, this album does fall flat on it's face a lot. For me, it doesn't compare to meteora, hybrid theory or even half of what minutes to midnight had. It's a disappointing yet tragic finale to this band.

May 29, 2017Linkin Park try to inovate with a more comercial style. If they least could wrote something in the album more creative than ''what dosen't kill you make you stronger'' this reviews could be completely different.

May 20, 2017The problem is that the only great song from this album is the title track, there are some good songs (Talking To Myself and Sharp Edges for example), but the rest of the songs is nothing of special and Heavy is quite embarrassing

May 19, 2017The album of one song. One more light — the main track from this album will be written in memories. All other tracks is just like casual pop music. Meh

May 19, 2017Linkin Park brought us one of the most uninspired records ever made. A lot of The Chainsmokers, "Indie be like" and non remarkable songs over the ten album tracks, 4/10.

May 30, 2017One More Light sees the band embracing its melodic core, and offering no apologies as they expound upon it.
-
May 22, 2017A muddled mess of a record from a band that completely abandoned any sense of identity.

May 18, 2017The issue isn't that it's a pop effort; indeed, they get points for a brave attempt so outside of their wheelhouse. The problem is that much of One More Light is devoid of that visceral charge that previously defined much of their catalog. It's a provocative challenge that ultimately fails to satisfy.
