Jun 23, 2017It is hard to write bad review for long time my favorit band but lets try:
If You are old linkin park fan / nu metal / rock then you will find nothing in this album absoluty nothing it is 100% pop music. If you like pop then 3 maybe 4 points there are better singers/bands in this category. -

May 28, 2017The mind-numbing melodic pacing and extremely ugly synthetic textures summed up a disastrous attempt to sound fun and market friendly. My Score: 61/180 (Bad) = 3.4/10

Nov 30, 2021It´s a good album with very deep and sad lyrics. But the pop attempet, although brave, goes wrong. It´s not bad, it just doesn't wronk.
-
Nov 30, 2021It's not a bad album, but it's just not good either. Linkin Park attempts a more pop approach and fails to deliver the message

May 19, 2017Linkin Park hasn't "evolved" they've sold out, but because their fans nowadays are the same people who listen to the Chainsmokers, so they'll eat this up. This is just bad, bland pop.

May 20, 2017Wow. I an honestly say I am gutted/disappointed/sorry for this album. We all know that LP like to evolve their style, but this is 100% a ppo album! I have a huge range of music that I like but One Direction isn't part of that group. Very sad

May 22, 2020Pathetic album by LP. Never expected a disaster from them. Pop didn't suit them

May 19, 2017The problem with this album is not being pop, the problem is that they are no where near how good they can be. There's no Linkin Park magic in it. It's a lazy work after keeping fans waiting for 3 years. What's worse is that they don't care at all about fan's opinions these days at all.

May 20, 2017wow, I just listened to this and I'm now ready to resell my tickets to their Citi field concert. I loved Hunting Party, don't know how they came up with this garbage, sounds like a poor Pop band.

Jan 13, 2021Worst album by them. The only reason it has a lot of streams is because the youth thought they'd finally check the band out after Chester's death and only like the poppier side of Linkin Park which is this.. which is f-ing terrible.
One of the worst albums actually to come out in the last 10 years from a "band". -
May 21, 2017The worst up to now this volume.
If one was a fan from the outset and one loved her hard sound, now one must look surprised on cover.
What has become only from Linkin a park. This is only a unity pop music.
The album belongs for me directly in the garbage. -
May 21, 2017Nothing wrong with turning to pop, just don't suck at it. Paramore did it this year and they created a great record. This record is uninspired and unbelievably bland. Horrendous lyrics sung by Chester and Mike's shaky vocals and backed by flat, synthetic synth farts and lame beats. I can't believe anyone with any self respect can like this.

May 23, 20173/10 as sh*ty generic pop band's album, 0/10 as new LP's album. Every next album was worse and worse, and now the bottom is reached. Congrats everyone.

Sep 13, 2017My previous review utilizing ironically reworked lyrics of "Heavy" was deleted, so I have to write a new one. Well, I don't have much to say (do I have to?). This. Album. Sucks. Ass.
Just like always, it's fun to see some praise for this record from people who panned it before Chester's death. What a savage hypocrisy. -

May 19, 2017Good job! It makes me feel overwhelmed to feel the transition of Linkin Park from the usual nu metal and loud riff they presented in their tunes all these years, to this enticing album. At certain part of the album, they give me some aura of millennial influence yet the taste of that Linkin Park still linger in every single tune especially in Good Goodbye. Keep growing and experimenting, boys!

Jun 9, 2017This is not about the evolution of a band. This is all about trying to make more money. Sad how this band sold themselves, and for worst, is not even a good pop album.

Jul 23, 2020Whatever happen in Chester's mind when he record this album? Bands evolving their sounds? Maybe. The Result? Turd. Why don't they go to easier alternative rock instead of freakin POP.

May 30, 2017One More Light sees the band embracing its melodic core, and offering no apologies as they expound upon it.
-
May 22, 2017A muddled mess of a record from a band that completely abandoned any sense of identity.
-
May 18, 2017The issue isn't that it's a pop effort; indeed, they get points for a brave attempt so outside of their wheelhouse. The problem is that much of One More Light is devoid of that visceral charge that previously defined much of their catalog. It's a provocative challenge that ultimately fails to satisfy.
