Refreshing bag of tracks with enough standouts (Bluebird, Post Humourous, Antidote) to get into the 8s.

Dapperton, by inviting listeners so openly into his feelings and experiences is where Dapperton will find his footing for the next step up. It really is hard to predict just where Gus Dapperton will go after this.

Dapperton’s potential shines when he pushes himself, when it sounds like he’s making music for self-expression and fun, expanding his vocal range and messing around with reverb. He loses it inside of self-imposed pop formulas and strained symbolism.

Orca may be enjoyable in the moment, but it doesn’t have staying power.
