DannMay 24, 2004A rather impressive collection of songs. Eminem is a standout here, with the songs "Lose Yourself" and "Rabbit Run" ranking among two of the best songs Eminem has ever recorded. If you love hip-hop, then this is the disc for you.

RyanTNov 18, 2002Even though a few songs are weak the Eminem tracks more than make up for it. Plus Jay-Z, Gangstarr, Nas, Rakim, and Xhibit all put in excellent tracks on the album.

KatiePDec 26, 2003Kyle: if you are pissed that em is only in "4" songs than all you had to do BEFORE you bought it is turned it over and looked at the track listing. and I believe he is featured in more than 4 songs on the CD... Lose Yourself Love Me Rap Game 8 Mile Road Run Rabbit Run If you want to hear eminem and mostly eminem, then buy his CD. Soundtracks are never 100% one artist.

Awards & Rankings
-
Eminem contributes three new songs, all self-produced, which happen to be three of the most ferocious hip-hop songs ever recorded.
-
The top dawg MCs lend the soundtrack much more credibility than predecessors such as Menace II Society soundtrack or The Deep Cover soundtrack.
-
This CD will sell solely on Eminem's four contributions, which include the uncommonly restrained current single 'Lose Yourself'.
