LukeDaveyof2LincolnCottagesBrightonApr 10, 2006Soup S is an idiot - how can Embrace be a Coldplay knock-off when they came before Coldplay did? And their only song on here that sounds anything like Coldplay, Gravity, was written by Chris Martin - Of Coldplay!!! This album is very decent and there is no way you can justify giving it a bad mark on the basis that it sounds like other bands, because Embrace came before most of those other bands.

MightyMouseSep 14, 2005Very much in the same vein as Coldplay ... but not exactly a complete knockoff. There are some very good single potentials on this album with effective melodies and hooks. The one weak point is the fairly simplistic lyrics. Worth a listen atleast.

marktAug 30, 2005I just got this album ...but after one listen it sounds pretty good. Some very strong singles on this, notably Gravity (the song from which I first heard this band and co-written by Coldplay's Chris Martin) Ashes, and Glorious Day.

JonSAug 14, 2005This cd is so fabulous! It puts a smile on my face, no matter what kind of mood I am in (pouty, poopy).and by the way, yesterday at the Boyz Cellar, they played this whole CD. I must have drank 5 Zima's i was so excited :)

A pompous, painfully tacky string of infomercial rock.

Out of Nothing is a truly exceptional album.

[Their] apathy really detracts from the heartfelt nature of the music, which, produced by the anthemic hand of Youth, is mostly of the passionate, chest-thumping variety.
