I risk to say that is probably the best and fun country album that I ever heard. Everything here sounds like old country music and there so much fun in every track. I think that Miranda is the best country female singer. Ok, Carrie is really good too and I loved the duet between they, "Something Bad". Stay like this, Miranda. Your music is really good to hear. Platinum totally lives up to the hype of being one of the most anticipated albums of the year. From Miranda's flawless vocal performance to the crunchy county-ish tunes, this album never fails to entertain.

    1. Girls: Great song about feminine-empowerment with a great soulful performance from Miranda, kicks the album just about the right way (9/10)
    2. Platinum: What's better than listening to the face of country music flaunting its blonde hair and its platinum success? Fun enjoyable song (8/10).
    3. Little Red Wagon: the first track on the album where Lambert truly and astonishingly shines, with her sassy beautiful vocals, anything could be worked up to make a hit! (10/10).
    4. Smokin' and Drinkin': A throwback song that anyone can relate to with a catchy chorus. Enjoyable with beautiful background vocals by Little Big Town (8/10).
    5. Piscilla: Lyrically-genius song with a catchy hook, but nothing special about it. Still, it's enjoyable, but forgettable (6/10).
    6. Automatic: No need to talk about this really great song about the old manual times, great tune and very beautiful, well-executed lyrics (9/10).
    7. Bathroom Sink: Written by Lambert alone, another female empowerment anthem, with some great guitar riffs (7/10).
    8. Old **** This is where the album TRULY begins to shine. Great cut that takes us back to the country music roots. It's honestly hard to do a song like that in a time when stupid mainstream country music is ruling (10/10).
    9. All That's Left: A song straight to country clubs dancefloors, revived by Lambert's fun performance and The Time Jumpers' beautiful backing vocals (10/10).
    10. Gravity is a **** Speechless. Gotta love this one. Enough said. If I could give this track an 11, I would (10/10).
    11. Babies Makin' Babies: From the title, we all can expect what the song is about, but as usual, the lyrics and Lambert's flawless talent make this song unpredictably BEAUTIFUL (9/10).
    12. Somethin' Bad: Weakest track on the album. Seriously, it's good, but you would expect more from the pairing of the two country 'Godesses' (If that's a word) (5/10).
    13. Holding on to You: Extremely sweet country ballad that'll take your mind off things while the listen. One of the standouts (9/10).
    14. Two Rings Shy: This is not the first place on this record that Lambert shows off her crazy side. Good song with a great vibe. (8/10)
    15. Hard Staying Sober: One of the 8 tracks co-written by Lambert. Beautifully-executed with, again, some amazing guitar riffs (8/10).
    16. Another Sunday in the South: I can smell future-summer hit. Beautiful throwback song and a perfect closer to the album (9/10).
So that gives us about 8.4/10 but I'm gonna give it a 9 cause an 8 is a shame to such a beautiful record. It was sure as hell worth the wait, folks! GO GET IT!

"Anit not moment like when I'm holding...ontoyou" Lol. Sadly is the best country album of 2014 so far, but it is not a very good--as a whole. The production was inconsistence to say the least. Solid effect from the most influential woman in country. I am forever thankful to Lambert for putting me on to Ashley Monroe and Kacey Musgrave.

Many of the songs on the album is alienating to men. Many songs lack the universality of human emotions. Brady Clark wrote many songs on 12 stories from a women's perceptive but the emotions behind the songs are relatable to anybody. Lambert fails to do that on many occasions. The best songs beside the one that mention are "Old Sh!t," "Babies making Babies," and "Smoking and Drinking." But, even those songs could have been excited better. In sum, best album so far this year in country music, but that is not a complement.

This album is so boring and the prodution is nothing good.
Miranda came not pleasing me and so far did not like about waiting for the next album.
After all, not all that critical acclaim, is good.
Just it,i miss Taylor Swift and Paula Fernandes.

Miranda Lambert's album Platinum is a collection of some of the best songs I have ever heard of hers. She soars high with having Carrie Underwood help her out on Somethin' Bad. And the best song on that album to me is Automatic because it talks about how much this world depends on electronic's these days and how people aren't very polite anymore.

Entre tantos pontos fontes no disco, encontramos ''Priscilla'' e ''Holding On To You'', que talvez seja a melhor do álbum. Expand

This is her most commercial album and it is bloody fantastic. She does pop country better then Carrie ever could. So many interesting songs on this album. Love them all.

Although the title is also an album track referring to hair color, the depth of this project goes further than Miranda’s roots.

Lambert’s new record is a challenging statement from one of the very few female singers that has a stage to be widely heard. That her statement manages to weave together nuanced humor and sarcastic wit with huge pop hooks only makes it that much more impressive.
