HeinMay 2, 2006"The most disappointing aspect of Probot is that many of the songs sound more like Foo Fighters turned to eleven than actual metal." Pitchfork don't understand a thing about ROCK again. It's just a feel good metal record that DOESN'T sound like the Foo Fighters.

JCaseMay 6, 2004I don't think I've enjoyed a metal album more upon first hearing it than Probot since I first put Master of Puppets in the CD player. Grohl is amazing.

KevDFeb 17, 2004Grohl attacks this CD with menace. The guest vocalists sound happy (if that can be used accurately) and at home. Top notch stuff. Highly recommended.

AdamSFeb 13, 2004I love this cd. It will be given a place on the shelf of my heart right next to Queens of the Stone Age's 'Rated R', and Nirvana's Incesticide.

As rewarding as it is unpredictable.

SpinGrohl wrote the riffs, and he hammers like a god, letting his hero singers write the lyrics and man the bellows. [Mar 2004, p.91]
