The themes are ambitious and dark, and suggest those of grief, loss, heartbreak, love lost and love kept, and political tragedy as experienced by a global, free society. The acceptance and embrace of contradiction as inevitable is a revelation that is put to glorious/hideous effect, and the result is cathartic, challenging, and rich beyond words.
