  • Summary: This eight-song EP pairs Prefuse 73 with cut-up artists The Books, and reprises their first collaboration, "Pagina Dos," from the most recent Prefuse 73 full-length.

  1. This is a rare combination of talent, vision and sound.
  2. Exactly what you'd imagine. [Sep 2005, p.170]
  3. Nothing mind-blowing here, just an efficient EP filled with enjoyable music.
  4. The EP feels more like a work in progress with aspirations of something greater than the ultimate collaborative effort that so many said this would be.
  5. The fusion of The Books' folk stylings and traditional instrumentation (cellos, banjos, clavinets) with Prefuse's hip-hop stutter-funk produces fresh moments, just not as many as desired.
  6. Ends up mired in a decidedly mild brew. [22 Jul 2005, p.78]
  7. [The EP] just feels like it could have been a lot better.

Absolutely amazing, as I've come to expect from Prefuse.
