Apr 26, 2021Their best since their debut. It sees them going in much more of a pop direction than their other albums but it is pulled off very well. I was worried that this album would feel incomplete since it is the first Naked and Famous album since they broke up and became a two-piece.
Best Songs: Burry Us, Death, Everybody Knows,(An)aestetic, Coming Back to Me
Worst Songs: Come As You Are

Aug 25, 2020All over the album is modern pop production, but it never rings as plastic coming from this iteration of the Naked and Famous.

Aug 25, 2020Rife with beautifully intuitive pathos, Recover is the sound of the Naked and Famous turning feelings of heartbreak and desire into powerfully relatable pop moments.

Aug 25, 2020Despite the album's likable, glistening production, though, the duo mostly chooses to dismiss the darkness rather than embrace it—emphasizing a pop veneer that is bold, bright, and, well, a little bit boring.
