Reloaded is a brilliant album but it is one that requires a certain mood.

NYC's Roc Marciano follows up his 2010 critically celebrated solo debut, Marcberg, with a sequel nonpareil in its originality and craftsmanship.

On Reloaded, he's written perhaps the most vivid rap album of the year--and possibly of his lifetime.

Grim and exultant at once, this is low-profile hustling on wax at its finest.

Marciano has emerged with an album that doesn't so much use long-established sounds as insurance as remind why they're tried-and-true in the first place.

Producer and Rapper of exception, Roc Marciano is innovative and experimental. Reloaded is very reminiscent of past works including Enter The Wu-Tang and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. This is one of the best albums of the year. Expand
