bradbMar 6, 2005pretty goos cd. nice beats and production by the neptunes. just a note - Snoop was born in 1971, which makes him 34 not fourty something.

SteveJJan 31, 2005Starts ok with track 1 then descends into mediocrity by track 2 and continues with consistently thereafter

MorganCFeb 17, 2005I liked some of the songs they were ok and the beats were awesome and the lyrics weren't so bad either. What really bothered me was he is still talking about sex, drugs, hitting the club, and picking up hotties. Hello he is 40 something years old and he is still the purverted porn star that he was in the early, what 90's.

DareANov 23, 2004that funkadelic gangster sound really puts this cd up there! Snoop redefines gangster in this cd! the only thing i dont like bout the album is that snoop went a lil bit too commercial. Justin on your album snoop! WHY?

Nov 26, 2020Really good rap album with a lot of pop and r&b elements. Pharell is also here and I love this album.
-
As always, Snoop oozes charisma, and he possesses one of rap's most irresistible voices, but R&G makes it clearer than ever that he has nothing to say, no matter how infectiously he says it.

New Musical Express (NME)If you don't mind flicking the fast-forward, there's enough hot shizzle to keep you returning for more. [20 Nov 2004, p.57]

R&G begs for a little more R and some cleverer G -- or, if Snoop really wanted to be bold, no G at all.
