The title track is pretty fantastic, but the other two are pretty disappointing. It's honestly hard to believe this is a Burial release. The sound brought to this release is in a much different direction than previous work. We're not getting moody or slim dubstep anymore. A lot of auto tuned synth pop with a lot of atmosphere. Overall, great title track, but the other two are lackluster.

Rival Dealer constitutes Burial's boldest statement to date. [Feb 2014, p.44]

This more cerebral music is interesting and challenging, but it is missing some of immediacy of his earlier work.

It’s the sound of something--or someone--rumbling to the surface, about to erupt.
