    this album has so many different kind of songs. she’s got sad songs and sassy songs. i love the features on the album too. i think the production on this album is much better on this album than on her first. her vocals are also really great.

When I heard the first songs released I was expecting some stuff so much different from ‘CAMILA’ (even thought I won’t like it as I did love the 1st one). But I was completely wrong. Romance got tears in my eyes, euphoria on my heart and Camila just proved me the talented superstar she is. Should’ve Said It is one of my fave songs, it’s catchy, funny and the latin vibes made me think “WHY THE F* I WASN’T THE LEAD SINGLE??”. Bad Kind of Butterflies got me impressed and I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS LOVE!!! THIS SONG AND THE ALBUM DESERVES A GRAMMY.… Expand

    Absolutely 0 skips, every little detail on used to this is a 10/10, like the trolley noises in the beginning referenced to san francisco, the clock ticking when she says “it’s gonna take me a minute” and the sound of the drink pouring & glasses clinking at “no i never did like tequila but there’s something bout when i see ya, think i need a drink”

    Romance showcases all of Camila's growth, both lyrically and sonically.
    Used To This is a gem production-wise, Should've Said It an uptempo latin-driven hit and First Man the emotional highlight of the album.

    The entire album is phenomenal. Not a single bad song. This album shows growth and Camila’s unabashed vulnerability. It perfectly describes what it’s like to fall in love. The visuals on the physical copy are beautiful, and I can’t wait for tour.

If Señorita hadn’t proceeded this album and the publicity stunt that is “shawnmilla” or whatever this album would be a flop on levels that hadn’t been seen for a star that had previously had such a huge song (Havana). Señorita reeks of a one hit wonder doing everything they can to stay on, and it worked... but how long can it work? This album indicates that not much longer probably. Overall romance is a lackluster, boring and bland pop album that goes no where. And just proves what I’ve thought of Camila for such a long time, she’s a discount pop star.… Expand

    I never underestimate her but I'm always positively surprised!!!! I love it!!! She's a great songwriter (and singer duh) and I love it that she's telling us a story about how she first thought about rejecting her lover's feelings for her (and her own) to accepting it and then being in love. Great album.

    An excellent evolution from her first album to her second. Sonically cohesive, but there’s something here for everyone. Great songwriting and storytelling as well! Personal favorites are Used to This, Should’ve Said It, This Love and Bad Kind of Butterflies but truly every song is incredible. Great job, Camila!

    A stunning album that captures all the complications of crushing, romance, and breakups. The lyrics feel so personal yet will resonate with many listeners. You can tell she has been inspired by amazing songwriter Taylor Swift with this album, and also gives each of the songs a dramatic twist either full of sass or emotion.

    This is an amazing sophomore album! The singles don’t even begin to showcase the great songs that are on the album. My Oh My, Bad Kind of Butterflies, and First Man are some of my favorite. Don’t listen to the people rating the album “0”...obviously very few albums actually warrant that low of a score. Give it a listen...it’s worth it!

    This girl can't sing, point blank period. Senorita sounds better with just shawn, my oh my is a copy of havana which is a copy of same old love. Living Proof is the worst song of the decade. Cry for Me is a total Marina rip off. Justice to all the other fifth harmony girls who can actually sing and deserve this career that Camila somehow got.

    we can really see the growth of camila’s work in this album, it’s a solid second album, I loved all the songs, My Oh My and Should’ve Said It are good potential singles, Dream of You is my favorite song of the album, Bad Kind Of Butterflies is stuck in my head, First Man made me cry and all the other songs are also great, good job Camila.

    Very disappointed with this album not gonna lie. Shameless was really the only good song, I’ll give it another listen or two but honestly it’s a very unremarkable piece of work. And there’s parts of it that sound like Kali Uchis and Bebe Rexha/Louis Tomlinson. She can do better.

    Throughout “Romance,” the pop machinery clicks cleverly and efficiently into place around Cabello’s voice. The productions tend to be sparse — spooky electronic sounds, an occasional acoustic or electric guitar, hefty but discreet drums — and even where the choruses ratchet up, Cabello’s voice often stays close and confiding.
