Apr 8, 2018That's the first time that UMO disappointed me a little bit, their characteristical sound is still really present and really pleasing, however, I don't see much going on here, some songs sounds like different versions of their older ones, others hardly push the boundaries.

Apr 6, 2018A classic UMO album. A summery album! Favourite song: Everyone Acts Crazy Nowadays.

May 12, 2018This album just makes me wanna fly to another world in her arms while some bird whispers in my ear.

May 22, 2018Nielson is comfortable enough in his own songwriting to settle into airtight grooves--with the assistance of the clattering, shifty drums from his brother--and allow them to simmer for a few golden moments. His guitar playing is sensational, and his use of warping effects to achieve the right mix of tightness and sensitivity gets better with each UMO record.

Apr 12, 2018Sex & Food gives the audience a closer look at the chaos-wrapped disco frenzy inside Ruban’s mind.

Apr 10, 2018Ultimately, Sex & Food is a very impressive record from not only Nielsen but also just to possess during these troubling times. There’s a lot to be scared about right now, but there’s also a lot out there to love, and thanks to UMO, we now have a soundtrack for that.
