    I honestly love this album so much, as someone who spent all their childhood being obsessed with witchcraft this is truly a dream come true! While its not for everyone, I do really like the pagan ritual sounding drums with the loud goat like screaming. It sounds very occult, and I love it! Its not groundbreaking but still very enjoyable.

    hate the idea of sex witch before even listening to it.....i wonder that if they could feel the holden caulfield butterflies it caused in my stomach just to read the title Sex witch and its reviews on this website would they still have done this ...to people....to me ....i feel like a real life sex witch wouldn't even be magical enough to rid me of this anyway...so how powerful is such ahate the idea of sex witch before even listening to it.....i wonder that if they could feel the holden caulfield butterflies it caused in my stomach just to read the title Sex witch and its reviews on this website would they still have done this ...to people....to me ....i feel like a real life sex witch wouldn't even be magical enough to rid me of this anyway...so how powerful is such a thing after all huh? very annoying......just heard it.....the only thing i can say is it sounds like Niyaz the Israeli band… Expand

    I don't really love it but it's not really dissapointing because I still got an EP of solid tracks. Most are great for the first minute or so with very physcedelic instrumentals and Natasha's possessed sounding vocals over the top but for their lengths they get pretty repetitive for their length, both instrumentally and vocally. It kind of reminds me of a weird satanic ritual though which fits with the projects ascetic pretty well so I've got to give the band credit for creating something that came together really well as a whole project with the same feel throughout. 'Kassidat El Hakka' was the track that caught my ear the most, simply because it showed a little more progression in the instrumental and really I think at 7 minutes long it had to. Also, it had these really menacing guitar chords and tribal sounding drums building up throughout the track and, although there wasn't really a great climax at the end of it, it sounded really dark and really catchy. The last track was cool as well; nothing special but it was just a really nice 60's inspired physcedelic track to end the album with. I don't really have many complaints about 'Sexwitch', there was a couple of unmemorable tracks towards the end of the EP but overall it sounds pretty good and it's fun to listen to at least once you won't get bored listening to it.

    Repetition is key to this music, but after several cycles, tracks begin to plod, broken up only by Khan's vocal work. The Sexwitch interpretations lose vital elements from the originals like horns, organs, and bells.

    At worst, Sexwitch marks a fascinating detour in an already accomplished career. At best, it’s a creatively adventurous standalone release. In actuality, it likely falls somewhere in the middle.
