    This album literally hurts me, it is so good, the lyrics, the sound, the background vocals, everything is perfect, we love the songwriter of the year.

    para um primeiro álbum, oliva entregou tudo e ainda mais. as músicas incríveis, as produções impecáveis e os vocais extremamente perfeitos. é quase impossível não se identificar com alguma das músicas que está nesse álbum.

    The album is very cohesive, with "brutal" as a perfect opener and "hope ur ok" as an amazing closer and one of my fav tracks, "traitor" and "enough for you" must be the best songs on the album, the tracklisting is perfect and songs are so versatile, very impressive for a debut album

    Olivia Rodrigo is making me feel more youthful after hearing the album, she took me to a journey of the girl who is feeling insecure of her relationship.

    The best album of the year yet!! So good!! The vocals are incredible, the harmonies in the back of the song give a dreaming feeling and the lyrics are amazing! No skips!

    An amazing debut album. Olivia’s songwriting speaks for itself with her powerful lyrics and beautifully crafted metaphors. The young pop icon is showing her range going from emotional ballads about worrying about your childhood friends to antsy teen heartbreak anthems. Olivia is proving shes much more than a one hit wonder. My only criticism of the album is some songs fall sonically a tadAn amazing debut album. Olivia’s songwriting speaks for itself with her powerful lyrics and beautifully crafted metaphors. The young pop icon is showing her range going from emotional ballads about worrying about your childhood friends to antsy teen heartbreak anthems. Olivia is proving shes much more than a one hit wonder. My only criticism of the album is some songs fall sonically a tad flat and tend to sound very similar. This however, is to be expect when a young star is finding their sound. Leaving me excited to see how she can grow from here as she strengthens her already impressive talent.… Expand

    Sour, for the most part, is a pop album that dips its toes into the alt-pop and bedroom pop subgenres, specifically spending most of its time in the latter. ... Rodrigo's lo-fi deep cuts that were made in the shadow of "Drivers License" can sound a bit repetitive. Her craft as a songwriter is especially evident on tracks like "Enough For You", "Happier", or "Hope Ur Ok", but the acoustic complexion these songs were going for could have benefitted from a bit more background noise.

    By the end of the album, Rodrigo has established her voice and showed listeners that she's not afraid to be vulnerable. SOUR is a strong debut that vividly illustrates the beautiful chaos of being inside a teenage girl's brain.
