Apr 4, 2020Charming, personal, reflective. SOUTHSIDE, has all the making of a country singer making his mark.
-
Apr 3, 2020This is hardly a "new" album - we've heard most of these songs before. '2016' sets up the album and makes you think maybe Sam Hunt has turned a page and has given us a borderline decent country record. But then it's all downhill from there with the same sleazy, generic rap/rnb mixes. Yawn.

Apr 8, 2020Fun Country-Pop hybrid album with standout songs like "Hard to Forget" and "Young Once."
-
May 2, 2020Sam Hunt can write decent lyrics, at times. Unfortunately, even when he does, he's let down by a cliched production.
At this point mixing Hip-hop and Country is nothing new. "Nothing New" is also an apt two word description of this album. -
May 7, 2020This is a bro-country record with NOTHING in the way of creativity. Random lyrics about girls, tens of different genres mixed and marketed as songs. Avoid at all costs.
-
May 29, 2020Years too late to capitalize on the success of "Body Like A Back Road", this album is unwelcomed in the 2020 music landscape.

May 28, 2020ÁLBUM COESO E ENTREGA BEM O PROMETIDO, APESAR DE TANTO TEMPO DE ESPERA POR UM ALBUM NOVO, HUNT DEIXA UM ÁLBUM BOM COM ALGUMAS MUSICAS DE DAR DESÂNIMO E OUTRAS MUITO SURPREENDENTES

May 31, 2023Listening to this album is so pleasant to ears and i like most of the tracks, It doesn't tope Montevallo but still i like this record
-
Jul 24, 2020O álbum é Perfeito e coeso, um trabalho moderno que não abandona suas origens, uma obra de arte para ser apreciada

Apr 9, 2020Southside’s experiments are made with enviable effortlessness: It’s a little rough around the edges, not self-consciously provocative. Hunt doubled down on his initial mission—making hip-hop and R&B in country sound hip instead of hokey—and it paid off with this collection of songs that are, more than anything else, fun.
-
Apr 8, 2020Classic gestures are all over Southside, though Hunt thankfully has no interest in doing something so straightforward.
-
Apr 3, 2020Mellow, multi-purpose country-pop designed to soundtrack good times at home, on the road, at the office, or at a bar.
