Aug 10, 2022This is Taylor's first full-selfmade album on her own. She definitely showed us fairy tales and I think almost every song on this album is a standout song like: Dear John, Enchanted, Last Kiss, If This Was A Movie, Sparks Fly and so on.
-
Aug 21, 202219 year old girl making a best selling self written album, itself speaks volumes
-
-
Oct 21, 2022A self-written masterpiece album. I feel so blessed to live at the same age as Taylor.
-
Oct 21, 2022wrote it all on her own iktr!!! she paid her dues she's allowed to write mindless pop after this
-
Oct 22, 2022First off, Speak Now is an incredibly beautiful, tragic, heart warming & magical album. The songs cover such universally felt emotions, in a way that feels so relatable & personal. This album reminds me of high school in the best & worst ways, but also continues to transcend time & still be emotionally/lyrically pertinent today.

Oct 26, 2010This album is 2x better than Fearless. just like how Fearless was 2x better than her selt titled debut album. Taylor Swift has been known to write songs that are like reading a diary diary, which is continued here greatly, sush as the AMAZINGLY personal song: "Dear John". Swifty is growing up, andher music is too.
-
Nov 22, 2010While Taylor still has the stars in her eyes of being a teenage girl, she's also learning some of the hard gritty truths of adulthood, while her songs all sound similar in style and range, her lyrics continue to deepen. She continues to grow and as she does, her music does as well.
-
Nov 21, 2010This album showcases Taylor's growth as an artist. The highlights of the album are: Better Than Revenge, Sparks Fly, Haunted, Mean, Enchanted and Back To December. Overall, Taylor's transition is most evident in her second single Back To December where for the first time she blames herself for the demise of a relationship. This album is Swift's best record to date.

Jun 26, 2011Wow what an album and it is even better than her previous effort Fearless. It is more mature and diverse. The lyrics are spellbinding and the music is not straightforward as it seems, plenty of twists.
Like it and definitely one of the best this year aside of Lady Gaga's. -
Oct 13, 2011Great improvement from Fearless. Most of the songs are beautifully written with touching lyrics and rhythm. Yet again so-easy-to-feel-related Taylor Swift's style. Some are just meh. But none I would call bad. Speak Now, Enchanted, Back To December, and Last Kiss are definite stars.
-
Nov 23, 2011AMAZING. I love her third album and she can SPEAK NOW all over the world....... All the songs are consistently strong across the board with some standouts and some veritable masterpieces
Go Taylor you can do the best than any other singers. -
Nov 28, 2012What's the best with this album is that she wrote all the songs by herself. Here is where we can finally know Taylor. There's a lot of everything. We have country songs, country/pop songs, pop and something more. Lyrics are the best by far, and also the way she uses to express her own feelings. "Speak Now" is, by far, her most mature album yet.
-
Feb 16, 2013Again repeating the fact that her previous album, Taylor presents the best pop album of 2010. From one track to a more vunerável that explores its most aggressive, this girl is another great and phenomenal gift to Pop And definitely do not want the guy who cheated on Taylor Swift.
-
Oct 1, 2017Speak Now is just a great album. Yes a lot of it could've been improved but Taylor wrote and produced this album all by herself and for an 18-19 year old writing and producing it, it is pretty incredible. All of the songs were different but still were cohesive. If you're looking for a piece of country work that's lyrically strong, Speak Now is the album for you.
-
Sep 7, 2020On "Speak Now", she makes a big step from her sophomore album. She has improved lyrically and in production, songs with more than 5 minutes that are not boring but are even more wonderful. The way she herself produced and wrote these 14 songs is foreboding for a great artist who is going to take over the world. The album itself is not that country, but songs like "Mean" give it a peculiar sound.

Feb 14, 2020Speak now review- Speak now is Taylor Swift’s Best record time date. Lots of great song and like 1 least favorite song. The album is Self-Written and well-written. My favorite are Haunted, Mine, Better Than revenge, If this were a movie, The story of us, and Enchanted. My one least favorite is Long Live because it’s way to long. Overall I give Speak Now a 9/10

Nov 18, 2021I'LL DO ANYTHING TO GET SPEAK NOW (TAYLOR'S VERSION) NEXT!!!! 1 point less cause it doesn't belong to Taylor

Dec 11, 2020Speak Now is not her best album, but is one of the best. All the songs in this album are masterpieces
-
Mar 23, 2021Speak Now deserved more recognition for the zero skips that it has.
When was the last time someone made a complete self-written Album as good as SN? when? -

Feb 7, 2023Amazing album with perfect songwriting. Its just country perfection and its truly an underrated Taylor project
-
Pontos Positivos: Back To December, Dear John, The Story Of Us

Aug 22, 2019Speak Now is peak country Taylor Swift - a showcase of the genius of her songwriting and the perfection of the country-pop sound she had been cultivating since her debut.
-
Jan 25, 2014Best album by Taylor Swift. I liked how diverse are the songs. It's good musically but lyrically, something is bothering me. Songs like "Speak Now", "Dear John" and "Better than Revenge" made me wonder what Taylor really is inside. In my honest opinion, t's like at some point, she has a very narrow perspective at things. That's just what I think though.

Pontos Altos: The Story of Us, Mine, Long Live
Pontos Baixos: Never Grown Up, Better Than Revenge, Last Kiss -
Dec 24, 2017The best self-written album. Lyrics, music and Taylor's voice make this album one of the best i have ever heard.
-

Apr 17, 2020Swift made this almost perfect album primarly by herself, which is impressive. The songs are catchy and danceable, the best ones being 'Mine', 'Mean' and 'Back to December'.
-
Dec 11, 2020I'm not particularly a country fan, but I recognize that this album has perfect songs like "Back Tô December" and "Sparks Fly" that drive me crazy.

Oct 15, 2021Is it possible to dislike a Taylor Swift album? (If we don't count Lover though). Although I like Fearless more, this album touches my heart in a very different way. I am a person who prefers to write letters to people instead of talking to them, and I never sent them. I keep those letters on my closet. Speak Now is that kind of album for me. Very confessional, very honest.
-

Taylor Swift: Speak Now
Taylor Swift, a 20-year-old country singer, is on top of the world right now. In just four years she has released three albums that have made her one of the most lovable pop artists of all time. Although I have been hearing non-stop about this pop/country sensation for years now, I was never extremely interested in her music. I donâ -

Sep 13, 2022Contains a few skips, but it's a classic Taylor album with a few gems, like "Better than Revenge", and "Speak Now".

-
Jul 9, 2022Who would've known that Speak Now was going to become her weakest effort yet. Yes, she wrote every song alone, but that's one factor in making a solid, strong track that doesn't come out as mediocre country. Haunted is her best country rock song, but i'm glad she switched to pop music when she did, as i would not buy an album like this again.
-
Nov 19, 2010+3 for exceptional song-writing.
+0 for having no voice and having to make it up with autotune.
+0 for originality.
Not to mention all her songs sound the same. "Mine", although lyrically different, is pretty much just a worse version of "You Belong With Me". -

Feb 23, 2014I did not like this album. Besides the songs: Back to December, Mean and Mine, I did not like the other songs. They were not catchy and her range is not exactly helping her out. The lyrics are stupid and not inspirational at all. Too generic to be a good album.
-
Nov 3, 2010Taylor was confirmed as a pop singer in her new album and how it can make use of a genre like country music to sell millions while she is destroying this genre, although her lyrics continue to be those of an innocent young girl and continue to generate a good image around it...is the same...always

-
Nov 4, 2021Bad, only one good song. No artistic vision. In addition, the voice of taylor is not put forward much

-
Feb 26, 2021this insanely bad, i hope she stops making music forever someday i truly hope so

Mar 17, 2023Terrible album, she has no good vocals which isn’t a surprise AT ALL, she’s a terrible singer, performer, dancer, and passes herself around to desperate men who want fame and clout only to get broken up with by them. She’s desperate and lazy.
-
Awards & Rankings
-
Feb 4, 2011Even in their overwork, however, they evince an effort that bears a remarkable resemblance to care‑-that is, to caring in the best, broadest, and most emotional sense.
-
Jan 11, 2011While Taylor turns her wrath on a woman who steals her man on "Better Than Revenge," she turns that critical eye on herself in "Back to December," a thorough apology to a former lover she regrets having left behind. Other tunes, such as "Mean" and "Sparks Fly," suffer from generic and sometimes underdeveloped lyrics.
-
Dec 15, 2010Because of the buzz behind it, Speak Now was destined to be a commercial success no matter what. Thankfully, the album succeeds on an artistic level as well.
