Boring, even worse than their debut. Decent instrumental work, but combined with whiny lyrics, not much depth or creativity, like what is the point of this record? This is probably the perfect album for teen girls to be like "Yeah, you are so right!! Oh god i love you all so much, Simple Plan!! Mom, shut the f*ck up, you can't change me and push me around!!". I grew out of it as well and i can understand it must be a very tough time being the mother or father of that child. Expand

I've been going back to the past and listening to bands that I haven't listened to in a long time and I stumbled upon this album and all the memories of listening to this on repeat resurfaced. This album does not deserve the hate it got.

They're perfect. Best pop-punk band ever. This album is lit as hell. Definitely their best album.
Best tracks: Welcome To My Life, Perfect World, Me Against The World.

Whenever I write a review I rate an album in the context of the genre. With that out of the way, I believe that this is one of the best and most influential pop punk albums out there. I'm not saying it is the greatest of all time, but it certainly land a place in the top 5% and probably my personal top 1o pop-punk list. I might have a slight bias considering Simple Plan has hit me nostalgically. People might be put off by just how clean their songs sound, but that is their style that they been manage to deliver in live performances. One may also be tired how whiny the songs are but let me remind you the album title is Still Not Getting Any. If anything this album is a warm welcome to my life. In a perfect world all albums would carry a variety of sounds and sophisticatedly explore its themes, but realistically that is not necessary to produce a hit album. Everytime I hear Simple Plan I get the same thing, but in this case it is a good thing, as if they made a crazy promise to give their loyal fans what they expect. Expand

All these 2004-2008 trolls made this album such a low rating when in reality their metal band or whatever kind of music those trolls listen to (reggae? how lame...) can't even perform their music live, UNLIKE simple plan.
Anywhoo, this album was awesome. The songs are legendary for simple plan on this album, and actually i prefer this album to No Pads.

I give this a three because I like "Shut Up". The rest of the songs suck hard and sound emo-like (not that "Shut Up" is not emo-like). This is really a album, but they did make ONE good song.

Every single of this album is a whiny piece of shit. One wonders when will this band ever grow up. This album is a perfect example of bubblegum pop and rock wannabe. It has absolutely no taste in music other than just to grab teenagers attention by the very typical rants with added rhythm just to turn it into a song. I love this album, it helped me get through a hard time in my life. Simple Plan has been an inspiration to me for years, and now, I've got a real life to show for it. Their my favorite artist, and this album is incredible. If you loved their first album, this second one is a shock, it's much darker, but it's just as good, if not better.

Can these little kids stop making such a racket? Honestly there guitarists can play but 2 chords, there drummer is horrible with no creativity, all they sing about is how much there lives suck even though there folks were probably rich, and most of the members still live with there parents. The singer holds his nose when he "sings"(whines). Complete sell outs, only reason 13 year old Can these little kids stop making such a racket? I'm a nice person, but I hate this band with a fucking passion. Easily one of the worst band's I've ever listened to, right along side Nickelback. Everything from the whiny-ass vocals to the shitty guitar riffs. How can anyone stand this crap? I just don't get it.

A four, for the effort. A four because I could simply go like this: "SP SUX, DONT BUY ALBUM PLZ PLZ!" and I would consider it fair game. I do not think that people telling me they listen to SP and act special about should feel special. SP reminds emos what it is to be emo. AKA: Crying for something that you aren't getting, but could be getting, if you only stopped crying about it. A four, for the effort. I do not think that people telling me they listen to SP and act special about should feel special. SP reminds emos what it is to be emo. AKA: Crying for something that you aren't getting, but could be getting, if you only stopped crying about it. It's an issue. The whole album is an issue. I am french, from Quebec. And I can tell you there's a fury about them in their own country. People rush to buy their albums and then feel sad because of an overly singular text. Those guys are what... 20 years old? And they still come up with texts like "Somebody save me!" or "Help me!" ... You could be asking for help at 14 years old, but at the point they are, it just doesn't fit. It's not right, it doesn't sound right. Some critics have said: all the songs sound like hits. Alright, so that's already another problem. When all the songs sound like radio-material. It's bound to not make sense and just be teen-food. Parents enjoy Simple Plan because they apparently make their children feel special. Issues that teens cry over are talked about in this less-than-brainy album. If your view on life is sad and you think "there's nowhere to hide". (LOL , MAJOR LOL)Please, do buy this album and cry in your own little corner, or invite your friends over to rant about things you have trouble comprehending. Perfect album for someone with an IQ of a simple-minded anarchist. P.S Simple Plan is Pop-Rock, not Pop-Punk. Or "Teenage crying for attention". Expand

I don't care what people say because most of the people who say things like oh my god what happened to music give me a time machine!" only know about the older music beause of their parents or older sister. 1. Individually, the songs are catchy, but as they pile up over the length of the album, it's impossible not to wonder whether the singer's endless complaints didn't drive everyone away. [8 Nov 2004]
