Jan 1, 2013This is a 9.5 album to me. It's pretty obvious to understand which direction the band picked since the first track. The album features really consistent songs and it's really pleasantful to listen to, especially in its entirety.

DSBacDec 14, 2006Not as good as Life or LGBD, but certainly far better than just about anything else around these days.

DardoSNov 14, 2006Their best album? Pretty hard to afirm that. But it's undeniable that Gravity has a bunch of amazing songs.

marklNov 6, 2006The best new Cd I've heard all year. If "Gran Turismo" was their trip hop Cd and "Long Gone Before Daylight" was their new country Cd then this is them proving that when all the BS is removed, the Cardigans are a very good rock and roll band. Wonderfully consistent, beautifully evocative.

MattD.Nov 3, 2006It has the pop sensibilities of First Band On The Moon, the edge of Gran Turismo, and the prettiness of Long Gone Before Daylight all rolled into one!

fwOct 28, 2006while this album pales in comparison to what is definitely their finest album, gran turismo, it is still a welcome return from the cardigans. the sort of music to play on a long drive it also includes some interesting pictures of the band.

DericCOct 28, 2006One of their best albums, IMO. Very depressing, but ultimately beautiful. Nina's voice is as excellent and unique as ever. I Need Some Fine Wine is insanely amazing, Overload is so great, And Then You Kissed Me II is so terribly miserable but still stunning, it's all good.

The Cardigans probably still won't shake the one-hit-wonder reputation... but Super Extra Gravity proves that the group deserves more respect than that.
-
MojoAn uneven and slightly uneasy listen. [Nov 2005, p.112]

Q MagazineNot quite as beautifully forlorn as 2003's Long Gone Before Daylight. [Nov 2005, p.123]
