Alcohol Free might not be their best title track as What is Love is soaring higher again but one of the best thing about the album is the bside tracks that was written by all the TWICE members.     I went into this EP and not having a lot of high expectations other than it being a decent pop EP, and it was. On the opening track, "Alcohol-Free," we get this blend of bossa nova guitar-playing and electronic beats, which admittedly I found to be intriguing. But overall, that song wasn't particularly noteworthy compared to all of the other tracks. My favorite song on the EP, "Scandal,"I went into this EP and not having a lot of high expectations other than it being a decent pop EP, and it was. On the opening track, "Alcohol-Free," we get this blend of bossa nova guitar-playing and electronic beats, which admittedly I found to be intriguing. But overall, that song wasn't particularly noteworthy compared to all of the other tracks. My favorite song on the EP, "Scandal," has a groovy bassline, catchy beats, and lyrics that are almost poetic in a way. For instance, in the hook, it goes: "Baby, we're scandal, way too hot to handle, you can't keep your eyes off, my love is like a candle." I think that using candles as a metaphor for short-lived relationships is very underutilized, in my opinion. My least favorite track, "Baby Blue Love," sounds like a bizarre déjà vu of a bunch of 90s dance-pop songs that I feel like everyone has heard before; so, it's kind of like "why are we here again?" Overall, I found this EP to be pretty enjoyable for its 17-minute run-time.

    For long years kpop didnt had a great summer album like this. Baby blue love is def the bside of the year. things get only nicer when you know that 5/6 of the songs were writen by the members. DAhyun best lyricist.

    Amazing album, I've even bought my physical FALLEN version, each track It has its special beat with amazing lyrics, without talking about the voices, perfect, I love the girls, I've been following them since 2017 and I'm the biggest ONCE in the world, I hope they release another album later this year.

    I just can't stop listening to this album ever since it was released.. it feels so refreshing, and it brings me so much joy. All the songs sound EXPENSIVE, and it makes me twice as happy to know that the girls were involved in the song writing of such a master piece.

The album brought us a summer-y vibe with 5/6 songs' lyrics written by the members. The whole album gave you a feeling of relaxation but the last track, Cry For Me English version was such a blast, it's a good choice to add them in the album.     I can only imagine how difficult it might be for someone who's not familiar with K-POP to give a chance to an album like this, but rest assured that one thing that TWICE doesn't do is disappoint with their music. They've evolved so much as artists and I promise you that you won't regret giving them a chance. I wish anyone who gives the EP a listen, that you can be able to feel the rushI can only imagine how difficult it might be for someone who's not familiar with K-POP to give a chance to an album like this, but rest assured that one thing that TWICE doesn't do is disappoint with their music. The songs offer an array of genre and feelings, First Time expresses the feeling of butterflies like its the first time. Conversation takes on a hotter approach with the line "let's have a little less conversation" and honestly, just listen to the whole album; I promise you won't regret it. The album justTWICE's pen did THAT! 5/6 songs in this album were written by the twice members!     Taste of Love by Twice surely took over the summer season. The amazing instrumentals paired with superb writing skills of Twice members showcased that not only are they talented when it comes to dancing and singing, but in writing lyrics as well. I am excited to hear their upcoming english single to be released in September!

    The songs in the album all give a different feel but together work cohesively rather than off putting & the fact that the members worked on the lyrics of almost all the songs excluding the main track is amazing cause not every group can do that. My favorite on the album are definitely scandal and baby blue love!

    I rate it 10 because the contents of that album are so excellent. Their writing skills, they have a great mind and how they produce it. Overall 10 over 10.

    It's a masterpiece!! Each song takes you on a different musical journey and leaves you wanting more. The quality of this album is definitely something to be remembered.

    This time they made sure to add variations in each song and express them really well. It's really refreshing album and they made it catchy too while the vibes wasn't too intense so the newbies could enjoy and groove to the whole album as well. Well deserved !!!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I love it. And I listen the whole day.You can get Summer vibes and. I really appreciate that ,except the title song 'Alochol-Free', all the other b-side tracks are written by the members. "First Time", composed by Jihyo who is leader of Twice and "Baby Blue Love", composed by Nayeon who is the eldest member of Twice are my favourite side tracks among the album. I swear the whole album can absolutely makes us refresh and relaxed during this Covid-19 pandemic.… Expand

    A wonderful album! My favourites tracks are First Time, Scandal and SOS. It's so cool how all the b-sides were written by the members themselves! The music and vocals are colourful, beautiful and fun. I love it so much!
