The debut album of the biggest artist debuting this century doesn't deserve anything less than a 10.

A very underrated gem in Taylor's discography. I can't wait for the re-recorded Taylor's Version, it'll be so great to here the songs with a maturer voice. My favourites are A Place in the World and The Outside. The albums also contains cult classics like Our Song, Picture to Burn, Should've Said No and Teardrops on My Guitar. Swift came out of the gate sounding bright-eyed but remarkably seasoned. [December 5, 2012]

A solid, spunky-yet-reflective country record told squarely from the teenage perspective.

Taylor wrote or co-wrote everything here herself (including the hit “Tim McGraw”), and while the most immediately striking songs are her eviscerations of no-good teenage boys (“Should’ve Said No,” “Picture to Burn”), the more thoughtful material suggests a talent poised to last well past high school.
