Incredible piece of work from an incredible musician. Ignore the user reviews, most of them are just angry that *blank* artist doesn't have the highest rated album on metacritic.

It's a good album, but very long winded. Overall this is an enjoyable album.

I remember when I saw a review for this and it was "It sounded the same". To that, I say... Who cares, really? The album is fantastic, and is a definite listen for anyone who has gotten deep into the jazz sphere like I have. This was a great find. Black Lives Matter. 10/10

Ten Freedom Summers is his magnum opus; it belongs in jazz's canonical lexicon with Duke Ellington's Black Brown & Beige and Max Roach's Freedom Now Suite.

In this globalised but fragmented world, now so obsessed with immediacy, rapidity and digestibility, Ten Freedom Summers is a visionary work of protest and power.
