Phil Campbell, of course, had been the guitarist of legendary band Motörhead from 1984 until the passing of its even more legendary frontman, Lemmy Kilmister, a couple of years ago.

No one turns a lyrical phrase quite the way Lemmy did, but let’s be honest, he was no singer. And musically, PCATBS pack as much punch as Motörhead and then some. These tracks are full of hard, dirty riffs

Their diesel-soaked biker rock is an uncomplicated joy. [13 Jan 2018, p.52]

Most of the stuff is catchy, with full-fat choruses on the excellent Dropping The Needle and Get On Your Knees, and while the rest of the album doesn’t push out any envelopes it offers up an energy-packed good time.

All in, it’s superior stuff, brimming with self-effacement and fun that belies the quality and seriousness from which it’s constructed.
