  1. The fact she's delivered an album which is vivacious and entertaining despite its obvious flaws means this cat probably has at least one more showbiz life left.
  2. Even though her debut album didn't go off so well with her label, Dixon's latest album gives her another chance in the music biz.
  3. The Alesha Show contains at least five songs that could easily crack the top ten and while it does occasionally dip below perfunctory there's more then enough to keep any pop fan happy.

Certainly enough to impress the judges. [Jan 2008, p.93]

'The Alesha Show' is a great pop/R&B record. It clearly doesn't aim to be a masterpiece, but it is what it is. Other people have said that'The Alesha Show' is a great pop/R&B record. It clearly doesn't aim to be a masterpiece, but it is what it is. Other people have said that they didn't enjoy it, but with tracks like 'The Boy Does Nothing', a female-empowerment dance track and 'Breathe Slow', a post-breakup ballad, the album shows off Alesha's vocal capabilities. The single 'Let's Get Excited' features a Madonna reference, for those who care. Not every track is perfect, but the album is worth a lot more than the 2.9 it has currently. Full Review »
