JasonTJul 18, 2006Cut Chemist demonstrates to perfection the way turntablism should be done - and you can dance to it, or drive to it, clean your house, etc. This is a fun and fantastic cd.

TLRJul 18, 2006This album is great because it is a lot more inviting than most DJ albums. The DJ as outsider or the DJ as host to innumerable MC's has worn the path. This is refreshing in that it has a place for the listener to give as wel as receive. Good job!!!

LawrencePAug 15, 2006A real fun and exciting ride that will put a smile on your face. Fav track is the funky "A Peak In Time." This is more worthwhile your money than the latest J5 release. If you like older RJD2 or newer DJ SHADOW, pick this one up...it will hit the spot.

UrbApparently channeling Stereolab, Dilated Peoples and the ghost of Esquivel, Cut Chemist finds that everything is fair game if you are witty and skilled enough to connect the dots. [Jun 2006, p.108]

He gets through a dizzying number of samples and almost as many genres.

Expertly tows the line between old-school hip-hop homage and forward-looking experimentation.
