Aug 21, 2022The Beginning is a severely underrated project from The Black Eyed Peas; one of their albums to date. However, Fergie didn't seem to be part of the group for much of the album, and she seems to only sing the chorus or the bridge. Where is Rapper Fergie?

Feb 4, 2014This is definitely a step down from their last album with dodgy songs like 'Love you long time,' but there's still a fair few banging tunes that really get your body moving. When the songs are great they're great, but some are just plain mediocre. Oh well, you can't win every time. I'm sure they'll be back at some point with something magical. I have faith.

Jun 6, 2013Although not their strongest, I believe this is till a good album. I hate music like this, but I love the Peas. The ultimate dance track with the best beat I have ever heard is on here with Don't Stop The Party. That, The Time, and Just Can't Get Enough are memorable songs. The rest however, are quite forgettable.

Mar 24, 2013Few songs were catchy and memorable, "The Time (Dirty Bit)" and "Just Can't Get Enough" were the stars of this album, where the other songs were not near as impressive.
-
Mar 7, 2013I have just about enough with these techno songs. The Black Eyed Peas fall into a troubled abyss and even though this album is better than Monkey Business the Peas just need to stop.

Aug 18, 2012Simply awful. "Just Can't Get Enough", "The Situation" or "Don't Stop The Party" are sufferably and not bad. But the rest is horrible! "XOXO", "Fashion Beats" or "Do It Like This" are definitely in the top 10 of worst songs of all time. Horrible composition by talentless "musicians". One of the worst album in music history!

Sep 8, 2011I am a big Peas fan, but this was very disappointing. The songs sound the same, the lyrics are just plain dumb and there is WAY too much auto-tune! The only good songs are Just Can't Get Enough, Whenever, Someday, The Situation and The B.O.Y but the rest are just awful!!!
-
Aug 13, 2011Probably (no certainly) the worst album of all time. Can't even believe it's possible to reach this level of horror. How can they be popular?! I really can't understand.
-
Jun 26, 2011Not as good as THE END but it continues its traditions of euro-dance very well and very cohesive tracks.
A good try but not great.Standout tracks like Light Up The Night,Love You Long Time,Fashion Beats,Someday etc. -
Jun 16, 2011The tracks are catchy, but that doesn't mean they're good. Now that the BEP have jumped on the auto-tune bandwagon, it looks like their music's not going to get any better.

Feb 10, 2011The possibilities of Black Eyed Peas creating numerous good albums is pretty high, being that their new albums always seemingly tend to become very popular nationwide and worldwide. This has music lovers and tons of appreciative fans coming back for more and more Black Eyes Peas albums like the â

Jan 7, 2011Rubbish. It's all I can say. I hated The E.N.D. so how could I love the follow up? I miss them when they were still a pop band and not an auto-tune machine.
Speechless. -
Dec 24, 2010There's way too much Auto-Tune. The lyrics aren't smart. Fergie is missing in action most of the time. Standout tracks: "Someday", "Whenever"

Jan 13, 2011Simply put, this album suffers from Beyonce syndrome--it does nothing to further the group's catalogue. Last time around, the Black Eyed Peas were exploring new territory, and the results were contagious. Now, it seems as though the group, particularly will.i.am, is stuck on auto-pilot.

Jan 10, 2011Although the overall plot of the album is sparse, it's hard to deny the enjoyment it can bring to you. If you know what to expect when you hear it, you can take The Beginning for what it is: a feel good album.

Dec 21, 2010Unforgivably bad.
