    A New reviewer starting with my favorites of the year and this is one of them so traditional, down-to-earth, heart-felt bluegrass some traditional songs and always a traditional feel and tone Alan, well done!

    It’s not a hybrid take on bluegrass but a purposely traditional one, while still carrying his musical personality... which means it’s a hybrid of sorts after all, but an unshowy, natural-feeling one.

    Jackson and album producers Keith Stegall and Adam Wright infuse a back-porch feel in original numbers here and savvy selections from other writers, including Jackson's new spin on John Anderson's 1982 hit "Wild and Blue" and Adam Wright's sharply witty "Ain't Got Trouble Now."
