VolatileAcidApr 1, 2005Can;t believe this band are out of New York. I thought they were English. Regardless, they Rock, literally! amazing tunes, I had to buy the album (10/10)

KimKApr 19, 2005Sounds like U2 doing a Cars album. One entire ton of fun!

StopDropandRollApr 28, 2005This album is one of my favorites! The Bravery's style and sound mesh perfectly in catchy and upbeat songs such as "Public Service Announcement" and "Fearless". While they can take on a somewhat darker (but not too dark mind you) persona with songs such as "An Honest Mistake" and "Tyrant". If you love to laugh, brood, and dance, pick up this CD N-O-W-!

KaylaMay 5, 2005I didn't even know who the bravery was until my friend told me to pick up their cd. Me and her are like the only ones in our area who listen to it and we think the are FRICKIN AWESOME!!! They have a sound that is totally them and its so addicting. I love their music and listen to them almost every morning. Sam is a wonderful singer and I think he is a God!

HelenBMay 7, 2005This CD is awesome - their video is over the top!!! It's about time...

vicky....Jun 14, 2005It makes funner doing the dishes and gave my iPod some flare.... In my way of thinking anyways....

-
Claire!!Jun 14, 2005I think their album is worth the money, this is a leap from ordinary rock... Anyone who rated them below 5-6 are SCEPTICS. I though they sucked to, until afterI REALLY listened to honest mistake.

PhilGJun 29, 2005Definitely one of the best albums released in a long time. Much better than the Killers. Great live band tool. Buy the cd - you won't be dissappinted!

GillianRJul 25, 2005This band is awesome, I give the album 11 on a scale of 1-10. They rocked Lollapalooza this weekend!

ErikaLApr 19, 2005I guess alot of these negative comments come from people obviously usung crack, they seriously don't know a good group when they see one, why attack a band that is full of talented people, attack someone like Britney Spears that does nothing except lip-syncs her way to the top of a corperation solely based on sex, so what I have to say to the negative reviews, go straight to rehab!

lyndApr 27, 2005This band may remind you of others but when you listen they are so unique and they put on a GREAT show. Theyre songs are awsome. I def. recommend it.

JenniferNApr 25, 2005I don't see whats so bad about it. Endicott is fit and it is a great album. its got great tunes and lyrics.

-
AnouvongApr 16, 2005I don't understand what s so horrifically bad about it? Awesome riffs, sneering vocals, and a dance-ability rating off the scale, i think its rather good actually...

daisyfMay 13, 2005this album is sick! I haven't heard anything like it in quite a while, and was totally blown away when I first saw them. They are really one of the best new bands out there and there album definitley shows it.

-
asezzalcrudMay 9, 2005Good Album... Good Band. They themselves have not sad that they are trying to invent something new, so why all these people who 'dis' the album say that? The Killers are completely irrelevent... At All.

-
IvanJSep 20, 2005I don't see what's with all this Killers-wannabe shit. The Bravery have a different sound plus their album doesn't get too slow as does The Killers' one. I think this album is great and I'm anxiously waiting for the next release. This could me my next favourite band. Hope they won't spoil it all!!
-
-
DeanBApr 11, 2005It's definitely not original, but I've never cared much for that. I like jaunty pop songs, and theres quite a few great ones on this album. Plus having seen them live they can really perform. Plenty of arrogant attitude, as shown by the subject matter of the lyrics!
-
-
house9Apr 24, 2005the bravery are great...most music is undeniably trendy, and if the bravery can be categorized as trendy pop, well, hallelujah! there may be hope for top 40 yet.

DwightVJun 16, 2005This album has style AND SUBSTANCE. If you like The Killers, you'll definately like The Bravery.
-
-
MossyJul 25, 2005Everyone should listen to this album now! If you like the Killers you'll like this, iits like a rawer faster version of Hot Fuss. The Bravery are my favourite new band (I'm going to see them on the 27 nov) and there is no reason for the crap they recieve. They're much more intresting than the Killers and also are much better. Buy, Buy!

BrianBApr 26, 2005First thing I thought of when I played the CD was the Killers. But then after listening to the CD several times it sounded more like Robert Smith of the Cure leading New Order. They have a unique sound that will capture you. This is a great CD that will grow on you for sure.

-
TalalAMay 11, 2005Most of you people trashing the bravery fear any electronic sounds for some odd reason. You also believe that if some other band comes out with a similar genre before that it makes any album after that less entertaining.... tell that to pearl jam when they came after nirvana...

KellyKApr 1, 2005Heard them on XM 2 months ago. Loved Honest mistake from start. THey are a new band that needs to shape thier identity and show thier strengths as a musicians and they'll be around for a while.

-
joshuabApr 4, 2005i know ive heard this somewhere before but i like what i hear. don't be afraid to like this group because you don't feel it's origionallity. Everyone has to be inspired by someone or something....nothing is truely origional...So take it for what it is
-
-
joselMay 30, 2005cool revived, revamped 80s sounds for the 21st century. yeah!

TheyRuleApr 17, 2007Whoever thinks they sound like The Killers is seriously retarded. The Killers are boring posers who think they are original. This is pure fun. Robert Smith should call Brandon Flowers, that cocky twat.

MarcDJun 5, 2005The sound is in and bands like The Bravery are scoring big with loads of their cds being sold. A good effort. But nothing we haven't heard before.
-
-
VladAMar 30, 2005Ok, this is one of those typical major releases that has potential great singles, but forgettable album tracks. Unconditional, No Brakes, Tyrant are unbelievably catchy and yes The Bravery rips off 80s post punk new wave better than the The Killers, but songs like Public Service Announcement remind you that this is a major studio release indented to get the mall kids into this stuff.
-
-
AriochlordofchaosMay 19, 2005Okay - sound like a bit of a cross between The Stranglers and The Cure - bin dun bin heard

Awards & Rankings
-
UrbThey definitely know their way around the early Duran catalog, not forgetting the requisite stops at New Order and the Psychedelic Furs. [Apr 2005, p.101]
-
New Musical Express (NME)It's bold, brash, trashy fun that will tempt Killers fans to fall in lust all over again. [19 Mar 2005, p.57]
-
The Bravery do a jockier version of the New Wave competition, pumping the drums in straight-ahead tunes such as "An Honest Mistake" and "The Ring Song."
