  1. Maybe this album is dumb on the surface, though not as much as fools claim. But sure as showbiz it isn't dumb underneath.
  2. Many of these electro-pop-rap tracks sound as though they were recorded with DJs in mind, rather than fans.
  3. It doesn't challenge listeners or give them anything unexpected or even asked for, really (who's waiting around with bated breath for 'Ring-A-Ling?'), but it's already a certifiable hit.

  1. Definitely the best album i have ever listened in 10 years.Well the hype was huge because we've waited for 5 years for a new album from BEP.I bought the physical deluxe edition of the album in its first week.First of all the concept of the album is perfect. The transform of the group is really successful indeed. My fave from the album is ''Electric City''.I don't know why but that song just got me so hard. The album's production is perfect. I mean even the words are not enough to describe how good this album is. Huge synths + amazing lines and joyful tunes. Even Black Eyed Peas can't top this album.Their greatest work Expand

Never been a fan but after being assaulted by their singles every day this summer is was hard to not at least check it out. The singles are catchy, obviously made as throwaway pop and if that is all your looking for it does it's job great but the album as a whole is weak and will be forgotten as soon as the last single is taken off the constant airplay. You know, I'm a live and let live kind of guy, and I would happily ignore the BEP as they stormed the charts and gave 11-year-olds orgasms across the globe, but the radio is always on at my workplace. I have therefore had to hear their songs MANY MANY TIMES. And just like Nickelback, what seems merely mediocre on first listen, on the 50th starts seeming VERY VERY BAD. Aggressively bad. Deliberately stupid. Stultifying by design. Listen, I don't care how funky your beats are, but I am incapable of enjoying a song that contains the lyrics "tonight's gonna be a good good night" repeated 24 times! (This is true.) And not when they're delivered by an auto-tuned, genderless pop mannequin! Do all you fans mean to tell me that you can actually detect a smidgen of real joy or excitement in this delivery? Any inspiration whatsoever in the production? Listen, if you like cute pop music, then get the latest Royksopp album, and stop poisoning yourselves with this shit! Expand
