Mar 28, 2023One of there best albums! Songs like Alive, Missing you and meet me halfway stand out to me, fergie on this album really pulls it all together! :)
-

-
Nov 25, 2021The Black Eyed Peas goes for a more eletronic song and the result is another amazing album!

Oct 3, 2018If the French (the people who gave the world Daft Punk and Air) substantially approve of this, then how could you not get your groove on with this music?
-
Dec 14, 2016Clunky and overproduced. Fergie sounds out of tune on most tracks (the abysmal 'Meet Me Half Way'), and yet autotune is overused on most tracks?
'Boom Boom Pow' and 'Rock That Body' are two storming tracks and just about save the album from being a total disaster. -

Jun 6, 2013Will.i.am makes the jump from traditional hip hop to electronic sound; and he excels. The E.N.D is their best yeat. The rhymes aren't dull and the beats are fresh. Although many faithful are upset on the jump, this still finishes with a good feeling left in you.
-
Mar 24, 2013The lyrics were pretty dumb, but some of the beats from songs such as "Rock That Body" and "Boom Boom Pow" were very good. The band's talent is minimal, where they use vocal processing to cover up their otherwise mediocre voices.
-
Mar 7, 2013With out of this world beats the Black Eyed Peas show us how smooth and stylish they can be. They also show us that if we love the world we need money and sex, which prevents them from being any good at all.

Jun 4, 2012A Very Good Hit Maker Album
I Gave This A 8 Because Fergie Does Not Need Auto Tune And Some Songs Just Kill Her Voice! -

Dec 3, 2011I got very bored listening to the album. The first half of the album is okay but by the time you reach the end, most of the songs sound the same.

Aug 5, 2011An album that prooves "moving with the times" can be taken to the extreme, not by changing your sound or genre but by suddenly loosing all manor of talent. Bad rapping, bad lyrics and bad auto tuning do not make for a good purchase. Save your money and just buy 'Rock Your Body' and 'Boom Boom Pow', the best of a simply awful collection.

May 27, 2011Stomping, Loud and Abrasive. Sure fire winner.
-
Mar 14, 2011This album showcases the best of The Black Eyed Peas talent, and contains their best tracks yet. Filled with hard-hitting electronic beats, this album has perhaps only one or two let downs. Highly recommended, this album is the best from the BEP's, and I believe, the best Mainstream album of its time.

Jan 9, 2011I'm not sure what all of the negativity is around this album. When I can put a CD in an listen to it and it makes me feel better about my day then it's a win. I love the 2 disc version of the album, guess it will be my own guilty pleasure.
-
Jan 9, 2011I'm not a fan of auto-tune but they are definitely the best artist to use auto-tune. A great album.
-
Nov 25, 2010Definitely when you listen to all the tracks, you realize that the ENERGY NEVER DIES. All the tracks are awesome, but i'm surprised because Imma Be could reach the top of the U.S. Billboard 200 and Rock That Body couldn't.

DZSep 12, 2009Boom Boom Pow steals its lyrics from the Flight of the Conchords' song (she's so hot) Boom, which was making fun of this kind of crap.

JayCSep 8, 2009Awesome album. Have no idea what the critcs who gave it low scores thought. Its a fun album.

MattCAug 29, 2009Never been a fan but after being assaulted by their singles every day this summer is was hard to not at least check it out. The singles are catchy, obviously made as throwaway pop and if that is all your looking for it does it's job great but the album as a whole is weak and will be forgotten as soon as the last single is taken off the constant airplay.

-
MikePAug 26, 2009Don't listen to Micheal H. about the lyrics, while some songs do have bad lyrics others have great ones like One Tribe, Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Felling, and a few more of their songs.
-
-
ShawnPAug 24, 2009I loved it, out of all the songs (15) I liked 9 which for me is a lot seeing as how I usually only like about 3-5. Whats wrong with the people giving it anything less than a 7.

M.vZ.Aug 21, 2009Best album I've heard in years! Just give it a try and be open for new influences. This is wicked!! Can't get enough of it.. They deserve what they are doin on the charts right now, breaking a 50 year old record!! More than 20 weeks number one with BBP and IGAF!! Love the album.

-
MichaelH.Aug 20, 2009Though lyrically terrible, the music makes you move and want to dance. Definitely the best album from the band, even though it doesn't showcase the best of Fergie.

-
MichaelK.Aug 7, 2009This album can hardly be described as music.

stephaniek.Jul 31, 2009I like their new sound. Normally I'm not a big black eyed peas fan.. but i really like this one
-
-
AlanJul 24, 2009I hate this band so much. I hate them. That said, the two singles are catchy as hell.
-
-
GabeLJul 24, 2009I think it's one of the best albums from 2009 and may it's their best album. It's pleasing to the ear. Some of them are really party songs and there are some slowlier songs too. It convinced me! I got this album and I recommend it to everyone!

MileshJul 5, 2009The only reason it gets a 1 is because of Boom Boom Pow. The rest of the songs are pure crap. Why did the Peas sell out?

LaurieBJul 3, 2009Only a couple of stand out songs, and those would have fit just as well on a Fergie album. This album feels unimaginative and tired.

-
QuayTJun 17, 2009Black Eyed Peas has fallen victim to the Auto-Tune craze that's destroying hip-hop. I can only hope will.i.am snaps out of his own egoism and remembers the fun but socially aware style that put him on the map.
-
-
ClifCJun 14, 2009Better than "Monkey Business", but not as good as "Elephunk". They tried hard creating club bangers, but they failed (only "Boom Boom pow" is great as a club track). When the band is more 'underground' (like the bonus track "Mare"), they are better.
-
-
TilkinDJun 13, 2009I find this album is very good overall. Will.i.am has done a very good job. After long years of waiting, The Black Eyed Peas return for our greatest pleasure.
-
-
TmanHJun 13, 2009Anyone who listened beyond 'Bridging the Gap', and 'Behind The Front' would be bitterly disappointed unless mere 'pop' music is something you enjoy. Rhythmically and lyrically disingenuous is the most concise I could be about this album.

-
yasinmJun 11, 2009I have been a black eyed peas fan since everything that came after que dices, and i can say that this is the worst album ever. I was anticipating this album for a while and it really dissapointed me, a lot of the funk and rap is just gone and there has been waaay too much computer voice stuff added to it. I couldn't listen to anysong except boom boom pow for more than 10 seconds.

BrianWJun 10, 2009I actually am very happy with the new BEP album. Ithink it steps up the game from their previous efforts. It is definitely an all-out in your face pop album. Great beats, thoughtful lyrics and Fergi-Ferg. What more could you want for a summer playlist?
-
-
KodyHJun 9, 2009I give it an 8... the first half is awesome but the second half of the cd sorta fell apart for me.. it just slowed down wayyy to much.

-
TonesJun 9, 2009At first it was not in to it but after a few damn!!! This album is wicked.

Awards & Rankings
-
The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) is a mess of pop/dance/rap crossover.
-
Group mastermind will.i.am's attempt at social commentary on 'Now Generation' comes off more like an ''I just got DSL!'' laundry list. But when the group's glitchy future-funk beats sync up with Fergie's unabashedly feminine melodies, as on the sweetly insidious 'Meet Me Halfway,' they find pure Top 40 nirvana.
-
Most of The E.N.D. doesn't ask too much from those fans. Its more substantive musical and thematic statements are interrupted by many others showing the Peas' deep, deep commitment to a good party.
