  1. As a summer stopgap for their new full-length this fall, Friends. works fine. The title track is quality, plus their fanbase eats this shit up.
  2. Ever the brilliant craftsmen, Gene and Dean display a sharp eye for genre-specific details, offering just the right amounts of cheese and hooks (not to mention their trademark vulgarity) on splendidly stupid songs.

One of Ween's best albums. The title track is an excellent disco beat; I Got to Put the Hammer Down is a real cool techno rock groove; TheOne of Ween's best albums. The title track is an excellent disco beat; I Got to Put the Hammer Down is a real cool techno rock groove; The only clunker is 'King Billy' which drags on with a repetitive hook and no chorus; Light Me Up is an amazing samba rock song; and Slow Down Boy is a great 80s ballad. Ween should do more albums like this. Full Review »

La Cucaracha will be all new songs, I think this is merely a teaser, a bit of filler for a laugh. Full Review »

3 out of the 5 songs are good but not the typical weird stuff that ween is known for, I wish they would head back into stuff that is more brown zone.
