This has the hottest tracks since T. Rice released his Santi Diss Track and I really mean it. If you have erectile dysfunction, give this album a try. It will solve your troubles. However, if you have heart disease, stay away from this album. It will get your heart racing so much that it will explode into fiery rhymes. If I could give this album an 11, I would.

After 5 years I'm just glad to hear something from Fatlip. Personality and story telling keep this album in my rotation. Solid.

Almost constantly compelling, Fatlip's long-awaited debut does not disappoint. It may not be the best hip-hop album of the year; there are a few stumbling blocks, but it is the most addictive. The thing keeps on finding its way into my CD player, which may be the best compliment considering my extensive hip-hop collection. In fact, I might have to pop that thing in when I get back to my car.

"Talking 'til dawn on a $50 futon"...Hilarious.Should have ditched the skits. What happened to "Worst Case Scenario" and "Here Comes The Lip"? You can download this off emusic if you don't want/need the DVD.

  1. As long as listeners don't expect an album full of songs as painfully brilliant as "What's Up Fatlip?", Punk marks a fairly solid return from an artist who lost nearly everything, but retained his scruffy underdog charm.
  2. Stronger than not and off-kilter enough to remain engaging even when the skits come on, "Theloneliest" might not have been worth a five-year layover, but it's weird and wide open.

Fatlip comes back stronger and more interesting. [28 Oct 2005, p.89]
