Jul 11, 2020This album is a classic. It has good production, lyrics, flow and singing. One of the best albums of 2020
-
Feb 23, 2020a good debut, although the lyrics or the beats are nothing crazy, still a good experience. Looking forward for his second lp

Jan 19, 2020Cordae showcases lyricism behind his years in his debut. A young master storyteller. He seamlessly ties together exceptional bars with great beats and appropriate features. Truly one of the best hip-hop albums of 2019.
-
Jan 17, 2020cordae shows me that hip-hop isnt dead, this album is a great mixture of diferent styles funk, trap, lyrical hip-hop, etc. another thing is the featured artist on this record, a nice verse from every single one, anderson, chance, ty dolla, in effect this should be the grammy winner
-
Jan 12, 2020The way the album transitions from one mood to the next is extremely impressive. Hope Cordae can keep it up.
-
Jan 5, 2020Brilliant debut album with great cadence, vibes and a guest list to back it up.
-
Nov 20, 2019Best hip-hop album of 2019. Incredible debut record. Should easily take home the Grammy for Best Rap Album this year
-
Aug 24, 2019This album is a birthmark to one of the greatest MC's on the come up. The album is seamless and shows that YBN has great rapping skill, flow, delivery, content is on point.
-
Aug 22, 2019Great album from flow to lyricism to beat selection. My only major issue with the project is the fact that YBN Cordae will sometime sound just like some of his biggest influences, rather than develop his own unique style (namely J. Cole).
-
Aug 18, 2019Whether it be flow, lyrics, cadence, or melody, Cordae graced this album with straight fire
-
Aug 17, 2019First time ever listening to Cordae and I'm impressed. RNP is one of the best of the year.
Best Tracks: RNP,Broke as **** Idea, Thanksgiving,Thousand Words, Way Back Home,Been Around,Family Matters
Worst Tracks:Have Mercy -
Aug 17, 2019The YBN lyricist’s debut is almost flawless. While there are times where he seems to celebrate too much and isn’t focusing enough on how he was lost, he does show his grind, his will and his heart. Cordae shows that this is his story, despite the prominent features, and never shies away to display his outstanding, promising rhymes, wordplay, and lyricism. 9/10 = A

Aug 12, 2019This album is really a masterpiece for me he fact that this is his debut album is sick cus it doesnt sound like that at all and he has so many flows and really impressive rhyme schemes and hes overall a lyrical rapper
-
Aug 14, 2019Encapsulates everything a Gen Z rapper should be aiming for; young gun energy mixed with traditional skill.
-
Aug 12, 2019Despite the glossy guestlist, The Lost Boy remains Cordae’s show. At 15 songs, it could have used an edit, another voice in the room telling him to tone it down. But still, it’s an assured debut.
-
Aug 12, 2019The rapper's skills aren't in question on The Lost Boy, but the album sometimes overshoots in its ambition, aiming for too many styles to hit them all with excellence. It's still a strong collection, and when Cordae strikes a perfect balance of mellow production and lyrical power on standout tracks like "We Gon Make It," it points to even more fully formed work ahead from a strong talent just getting started.
