FarrahJJun 2, 2009Speechless this album shows Anthony's depth and range truly a diamond no one can touch him. This album gives you the chills such a musical poet it is hard to define your musical talent. Let the haters stay where they may.

GwenKJan 8, 2009I think that Mr. Hamilton's versatility is extraordinary! The "Point of It All" is that his growth as an artist should be recognized.

GaryJJan 7, 2009the best R&B CD this year bar none. Anthony sings his songs so beautifully you can't help but, feel his emotions on every song. All hail the new king of soul.

JerrikaT.Jan 6, 2009I love Anthony Hamilton, and I believe that he's a positive infulence to the R&B genre. His beautiful voice makes the music to where you just want to get up turn it to the loudest it can go and dance around your room lol.

PDubDec 18, 2008Outstanding..it's about time someone did a Grown Up Album. As always his voice is awesome and the music in refreshing, not a whole lot of synthesis, just real music with a real voice...Powerful, Real, and Uplifting (Soul's On Fire).

Awards & Rankings

At least a third of the album's contents would have to be part of any representative introduction to Hamilton. In fact, this puts a cap on a three-album run as remarkable as any other in 2000s R&B.
-
His singing throughout is flawless and expressive.
-
The Point of It All's harder-edged 'Fallin' in Love' and 'Prayin' for You (Superman)' are the kind of stylistic change-ups he should consider throwing more often.
